CA - Residency Week Off Number 1 Oh hello! I swear I’m alive. For those who do not know, most residents (aka me) only get 4 weeks off a year in one week chunks. Jay and I cashed one early on in August to both visit his fam in CA and do some wedding venue shopping. After visiting NINE, we booked our dream venue ❤️ I could make a whole post / TikTok’s about our experience thus far trying to plan this during intern year Enjoy these happy moments of not rounding or cleaning our in-baskets! Their ube pancakes are unmatched 🥑 @thecombinekitchen lots of morning were pick up and go because each venue was 30-60 mins away! 🍣 @pb_pokehouse_oceanside we inhaled this. 🍻 @capoleisure beeping and bopping between venue tours - very cute area! ⛲️ Exploring were Jay last visited in the 4th grade (would have loved to consider as venue if in budget)! 🇵🇭 @breezyexperience bc I wouldn’t stop talking about this place ☕️ @hiddenhousecoffee mid-day pick up between tours ⚾️ @dodgers won!! Got to use my @baggu bag &&& it was @hellokitty @sanrio night! 👀 @europavillage a change in pace for the week 🍣 One of the multiple dinner with Jay’s fam - very yum 🧋@krakboba fuel before our redeye flight back 🍅 @greentomatogrill a healthy filling meal 🍗🥓🥩🍖 at the Ortega’s 🥪 @tomsfarms another sandwich for the road 🍦@somisomiicecream 1 of 4 places we had icecream ☕️ @thepressespresso these were magical 🐁 always find a way back to this rat
