POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

15 years ago, the Cunninlynguists were doing their first show in Paris at Glazart. Sold out.
Tonedeff opened for them & killed it.
Réel Carter did his part too.
In that time, I was still running my 2nd company, Baseline Productions.
We did this one in collab with Novo Hip Hop On Top & 90bpm.
In that time, Instagram didn't exist & we were pushing shows through forums.
The good old days, who was at that show? 🙂

I tried to tell 'em, unless your name is @lr_blitzkrieg , you don't go back like me and @keithwildchild, you just don't.

What made us become best friends, back then? Both of us being mad skinny in elementary school? Both of is loving Dungeons & Dragons, skateboarding, basketball, Kung Fu, bike riding? Both being from a musical family? Was it Hip Hop?

And the answer is ... yes. It was all of that.

Now help me wish this man a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! 🎂🎁🎉🎊🎂🎁🎉🎊🍻

Love you, bro! 👑👑👑

We're gonna #CelebrateLife when you touch down in the States tomorrow!

It's been a week and a half since the first #BandcampFriday of 2023, and I've had plenty of time to enjoy just a boatload of new music. First things first, though: December marked the end of my long wait for @tonedeff to put out another compilation of songs he's released for a little over a decade (apart from the other albums and EPs, natch). I found the interview snippets between him and @gastoralmonte quite interesting, but my search for the whole interview turned up nothing online. Still, the album scratches the completionist itch quite well.
.
On to January! Somehow I'd missed the latest drop by @hecticzeniths, and I really hate the fact I know next to nothing about musical forms, because calling it a symphony or a sonata feels entirely incorrect to me. Whatever it is, I considered it perfect for my after work decompression routine; I've rarely felt so calm as quickly as I did when listening to it the first time. I also took a step further into the world of @twrpband, because why not experience some sweet and funky temporal shenanigans once in a while? Also, it might be some time before I return to their discography, but that's only because I like spacing out their stuff for fear of it running out too soon.
.
Will try to update in a more timely manner this year. :)

Adultish Kickstarter Update for December 7, 2022

Peace World! There’s exactly 1 month left to back my campaign on Kickstarter! So far we’ve raise over $12,000 with 74 backers! Thank y’all so much!

Now we’re pushing to reach my first stretch goal of $15,000 and we’re less than $3000 away! This goal will include custom art by Naturel and more. Pre-order your copy of Adultish today!

Here’s my album progress:
Yesterday I re-recorded a song with a few lyric changes.
I have 3 songs left to finish writing and record.
I have 5 songs left to completely record if you include and DJ cuts.
We have 8 songs left to mix.

And again, you all have 31 days left to support me on Kickstarter. By the way, the “Reed Richards” instrumental drops this Friday!

That’s all for now. I’ll see you soon but talk to you sooner. ✌🏾
