Don't be good be great

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’VE HAD EVERY REASON TO GIVE UP ON LIFE. I’VE LOST FAMILY, CLOSE FRIENDS, AND PEOPLE I NEVER IMAGINED I WOULD HAVE TO LIVE WITHOUT. I’VE BEEN BETRAYED BY PEOPLE I TRUSTED THE MOST, FACED HEARTBREAK, ENDURED DISAPPOINTMENTS, AND EXPERIENCED MORE SETBACKS THAN I EVER THOUGHT I COULD HANDLE.

BUT THROUGH IT ALL, I’VE HELD ONTO THE VALUES MY PARENTS INSTILLED IN ME AT A YOUNG AGE. THEIR UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, KIND HEARTS, CARING SPIRITS, AND WISDOM CONTINUE TO GUIDE ME EVERY SINGLE DAY. EVEN THOUGH I’VE HAD TO LEARN HOW TO LIVE WITHOUT THEM, THE LOVE THEY GAVE ME NEVER LEFT. IT LIVES WITHIN ME, AND IT REMINDS ME WHO I AM AND WHO I MUST CONTINUE TO BE.

BEING THE LONE SURVIVOR OF MY FAMILY IS A PAIN THAT WORDS CAN HARDLY DESCRIBE. SOME DAYS ARE HARDER THAN OTHERS, AND THE BATTLE WITH DEPRESSION IS REAL. BUT I KNOW I’M NOT ALONE IN THIS STRUGGLE. THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE SILENTLY FIGHTING THEIR OWN BATTLES, TRYING TO FIND THE STRENGTH TO FACE ANOTHER DAY.

MY HEART AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO EVERYONE WHO IS STRUGGLING MENTALLY, EMOTIONALLY, OR SPIRITUALLY. PLEASE KNOW THAT YOU MATTER. YOUR LIFE HAS VALUE. YOU DON’T HAVE TO HAVE EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT, AND YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE STRONG EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY. SOMETIMES, JUST GETTING OUT OF BED AND SHOWING UP IS A VICTORY IN ITSELF.

I’M STILL LEARNING, STILL HEALING, STILL PRAYING, AND STILL FIGHTING TO BECOME THE BEST VERSION OF MYSELF. I TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME, HOLDING ONTO MY FAITH, MY PARENTS’ LEGACY, AND THE LOVE THAT CONTINUES TO CARRY ME FORWARD.

NEVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF. YOUR STORY ISN’T OVER. YOUR PAIN DOESN’T DEFINE YOU, AND YOUR SETBACKS DON’T DETERMINE YOUR FUTURE. KEEP FIGHTING, KEEP BELIEVING, AND KEEP SHOWING UP FOR YOURSELF, EVEN ON THE DAYS WHEN LIFE FEELS HEAVY.

WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO CONTROL EVERYTHING LIFE THROWS OUR WAY, BUT WE CAN KEEP STRIVING TO MOVE FORWARD WITH FAITH, COURAGE, AND PURPOSE.

MAY GOD STRENGTHEN EVERY HEART THAT IS HURTING, BRING PEACE TO EVERY TROUBLED MIND, AND REMIND US ALL THAT EVEN IN OUR DARKEST MOMENTS, THERE IS STILL HOPE.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL. 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾

Congratulations to my little cousin @asiah.quatt and to all the graduates of 2026! 🎓✨

You continue to inspire our family with your determination, focus, and ambition. Keep striving toward your dreams and turning your goals into reality. I’m so proud of you for believing in yourself, following your heart, and keeping your mind focused on the right path.

To your parents—thank you for raising such an incredible young woman. The Thomas family constantly reminds me what true unity, love, and support look like. I truly appreciate the way you always include me, and make sure I know I’m loved as a family member. Our bond is genuine, and that means more to me than words can express.

Shout out to all the Thomas’s! Thank you for showing me the meaning of real family commitment, loyalty, and unconditional love. I was once a very lost child, but through your constant support, encouragement, and care, I’ve found healing. For that, I will forever be grateful. ❤️
