He rarely has a day off so we had to use this one wisely! @tonetank picked this fabric up at @moodfabrics and I knew turning it into shorts would cheer him up! #sewing #coneyisland #slowfashion

Some of this music didn’t come from a place of comfort.
It came from processing… grieving… trying to make sense of things while still moving forward.

Death Tape 2 | We Gon’ Need Each Other was never just an idea — it was a meeting point. A space where me, Quelle Chris, Denmark Vessey, and everyone involved could be honest about where we were at, and build something out of that.

That process became its own kind of healing.

Records like “Holding On” are about that quiet work —
staying present, carrying memory, choosing to keep going.

And this project… it’s a reminder:

We gon’ need each other.

We pressed a limited run of these records to keep that intention intact.
There are only a few copies left — including a small batch signed by all the artists you see here.

If this music has meant something to you, this is a way to hold onto it.

2026 Full Moon Soon. I don't desire anymore technology. I wish for anymore technology to only exist to make hard lives livable and dignified. No more technology to make easy lives more vapid. I am hopeful for our futures! Shit is challenging! Despite the challenges all the friends I am blessed to know are bringing beauty and decency into the world everyday. May we all, creatures, land, water and sky, know peace, care and ease for 2026. For all the folks who have hosted us or met up with us on the road thank you for re-filling my cup on the human spirit!

In 2007 I needed a kidney transplant and my uncle Dennis was kind/generous/brave enough to offer one of his kidneys to me. That kidney served me well for the last 18 years and allowed me to enjoy life from age 26 to 44.
Earlier this year that kidney ran its course and I needed another one (for those that don’t know - transplants don’t last forever when you’re young). From the end of July through mid October I had to go on dialysis but it was only temporary because my wife and I knew this coming and we planned ahead.
This time my around my best friend Eddie was kind/generous/brave enough to give up one of his kidneys so that I could move to the top of the transplant list. Back in 2017 when my father passed away, Eddie casually offered to give me his kidney and 8 years later he followed through (he wasn’t a direct match for me but if you give up a kidney for someone they will be prioritized to receive an anonymous kidney from the list).

A few weeks after Eddie’s kidney removal they found a match for me and on October 15th I received a kidney from an anonymous donor.
I am now fully recovered and ready to get back to normal life.

In addition to my Uncle Dennis, Eddie and the anonymous donor, I have to thank my wife and son who unfortunately went through a lot this past summer and fall. I can’t thank my wife enough for being strong and taking on every thing she did.

I also have to thank my in-laws for coming back and forth to help and support us for the last few months.

I also owe my family, my wife’s extended family, my wife’s friends, my wife’s job, the Puente/Bustamante families and all of my close friends so much for helping out, visiting me in the hospital, taking me to and from doctor’s appointments, driving me to and from dialysis and calling/texting to check up on me.

The last half of 2025 was incredibly rough but it’s all behind me now. Everything is all good.

❤️
