POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Thank you, @abbeyroadinstnl , for everything! It has been a hell of a journey 🤘
I am thankful for all the moments I got to experience here, all the friends I made, and all the knowledge I gained. The more time I spent in those studios, the more I felt in control of my music. There is something about this place that is truly inspiring, I can’t quite put it into words. I will keep these moments in my memory forever.
Goodbye, Abbey Road. I hope I will see you again in the future!

Another (long overdue) guitar dump🎸

- Chibson Les Paul. Could you tell this is a fake Gibson? Honestly played like a dream!
- Squier Classic Vibe strat. Plays better after a setup than most Fenders!
- Yamaha SG. Very old, needed a setup.
- @tonewolfwest’s crazy modded Squier. Sounds killer, you can hear it on @monowolf.band’s tracks. Installed a kill switch for the bass pickup & full setup.
- Very cool 90s MIJ strat.
- Harley Benton strat. Rewired all the electronics & replaced the switch.
- Fender Player strat. Super clean, needed a setup.
- Japanese western. Sounds great after a setup.
- Mini Taylor. Had a lot of string buzz before, plays great now.
- Yamaha acoustic. Fixed the output jack & preamp, along with a full setup.
- Nashville Tele. I have a thing for tele’s with middle pickups. Needed a setup.
- 60s classical guitar. Hadn’t been played for decades. Fixed the neck & action.

Did lots of setups & repairs the past few weeks, with a bunch of guitars currently waiting for a free spot on my workbench🙂‍↕️ more to follow!

Massive congrats to Dirk from @monowolf.band for the release of his new single, ‘STATERA’. It’s a great rock tune with some really solid vocal harmonies🎸🤘

Dirk was kind enough to give me a shoutout in the production video, where he explains all there is to know about how his latest single came to life. Check it out!!

A little moment of Thousand Pieces, from our live studio session. New song is on the way. This one’s been waiting in the passenger seat for a while 👀✨ Can you guess which one it is??

You know the drill, another week, another guitar dump🤝

1. Epiphone 1960 Les Paul Reissue – without a doubt the best Epiphone I’ve ever played. It sounds, plays and feels like a Gibson. I’d take this over a Gibson Studio any day.
2. Yamaha acoustic – this one was in dire need of a setup and it plays surprisingly great.
3. Dirk’s (@tonewolfwest) strat needed a custom slotted top nut and a setup. Stay tuned because you might hear it on a new @monowolf.band tune soon.
4. Peavey strat, needed a full setup. It always amazes me how far you can take these guitars with a good setup.

Pick one – which one would you take home with you🤔

Here’s one of my own guitars, my Gibson Les Paul Studio that’s been with me for around 15 years. I changed the pickups to Alnico Pro II’s and it plays and sound great🎸

I’ve never had a chance to take it into the studio, until recently when @dwolfmusic invited me for a session, where we covered Green Day’s ‘When I Come Around’.

Big thanks to everyone involved:
Vocals: @dwolfmusic
Bass: @michzwees
Drums: @steinrusken
Studio: @abbeyroadinstnl
Mix: @dwolfmusic

Special shoutout too the engineers: Dirk Wolf, Martin Sham, Cian deBurca and Luc Kamps🤘
