Ms. Fitz Turns 2🥳🩵✨️!

Two years ago today, I officially registered my business—ultimately embarking on a journey that has since challenged, changed, and grown me in more ways than I could’ve imagined🥲.

Building Ms. Fitz with my own two hands and the vision God gave me has brought me such a deep sense of fulfillment. It’s allowed me to meet some of the most amazing people and opened doors to create space for community, style, creativity, and expression🥰🙌🏽.

The gratitude I have—for the returning customers, the new supporters, the expansion, the pivots, the quiet lessons, the behind-the-scenes work... all of it—is immense. I truly am so grateful🥹🫶🏽.

And if I’m being honest… I’m also tired😮‍💨.

Tired of constantly grinding.
Tired of trying to maximize my output.
Tired of the algorithm chase.
Tired of the burnout.
Tired of feeling stuck at times.
And tired of wondering if I'm doing enough.

But even in the moments of weariness, I’m still here. Still showing up. Still grateful. Still unwavering.
And that’s what I want to celebrate🎉.

I wholeheartedly believe my business’s steadfastness is a testament to the grace and favor God has covered both Ms. Fitz and myself with. Therefore, I cannot glorify and thank my Heavenly Father enough for His provision🙏🏽✝️.

With all that said, here’s to year 2: the highs, the lows, and the in-betweens🥂🩵✨.

The mic is our scientific tool for healing the crowd’s heart as well as other hip-hop practitioners’ brainstems. The science of emceeing is real. It is more than just an universal artform, it is music therapy for many of us.

Proceeds from the show will go to Melodies 4 Healing, 501 c3, nonprofit to aid in their mission to underserved groups as a therapy vehicle for mental wellness.

Remember, it's not about how you start, but how you finish😘💯! So enjoy my lil before & after transformation💁🏽‍♀️🩵.

Whenever I set up my booth, I never wear my market outfit🚫. Last thing I want to do is mess up my look by getting sweaty, dirty, or potentially damaging it💔.
_
I've been itching to wear this sweater, but never had the right occasion😩. Well, what better opportunity than vending in January at my 4th @ncvintagebazaar 🤩!

I couldn't have asked for a better "last market of 2024" than my own!!🙌🏿 🙏🏿 Last year this time Toni & I were just talking about wanting to put together a market, and as of today, we hosted our 3rd one, and I'm just so thankful right now!

God taught me so much this year about what I was capable of doing when in prior years I would have never seen myself doing. My business has evolved so much since I started it back in 2016, and each year always brings new challenges & rewards.

Putting together 3 markets without any prior experience opened my eyes about so many things and pushed me wayyyy outside my comfort level. There were times I felt out my element and wanted to back out. It's so much work that goes into each market, especially when you care more about wanting an amazing turnout & your vendors to be profitable than anything else. When that's your main focus, more effort & details are put in.

Each market brought its own challenges from having to reschedule a market because of the weather... to difficulties of getting enough vendors to apply...to having vendors cancel last min... to seeing flyers you took time and energy posting up to only be removed... to getting patrons to attend our markets...to life just LIFE-ING... and we still pushed through and made 3 markets happen!!!

I'm thankful to every vendor who took a chance on our vision & goal with this market...to every patron who stopped by and shopped with our amazing vendors..to Steel Hands Brewing for allowing us to use their space and ALWAYS being accommodating...to my business partner Toni for putting up with me and being the best business partner I could of asked for....AND to God for making our dreams a reality!!!
