New Work

Introducing The Gin House - a 200-year-old former agrarian outbuilding in the Carolina lowcountry preserved and reimagined as a retreat for some very special clients.

This project is especially close to the heart. What was created here is the result of a shared passion between designer, client, and the entire project team. There’s a particular joy in helping an old building find new purpose, and an even greater one in doing so with a group of people who share that same passionate vision.

A special thanks to Will Wingfield with Reggie Gibson Architects for your artful hand and your trust in my team. To builder Madison Utley, who’s daily presence and attention to detail allowed this home to become what it is. To @tony1stdibs and the @1stdibs team for affording me the venue to share this story with the world. The best interiors are rarely built overnight—they are collected, layer by layer, over time. Designers Dan Fink, Rush Jenkins, and Sean Anderson will discuss the enduring role of antiques in contemporary living. From statement pieces and treasured finds to the art of mixing periods, styles, and provenance, they will explore how great collections bring depth, personality, and authenticity to modern homes. Tony Freund, Editorial Director and Director of Fine Art at 1stDibs, will moderate this panel, equal parts connoisseurship and creativity, celebrating the discerning eye, the thrill of the hunt, and the timeless appeal of living with beautiful things.
