Here's to 15 years! 💛 My friends and I have rented the same magical place in the Catskills since our kids were tiny. 🏞 We love the place so much that we barely leave it, opting to roam the property, lounge & nap, play badminton and ping pong, swim, play games, do puzzles, eat & drink, and a tiny bit of work (only when we have to). Grateful for this annual, weeklong trip and for the "framily" we have cobbled together. Just a reminder that you can choose your people. 🫶🏽 #Catskills #Friendship #Family #Vacation

Each month, we randomly select a Vista Pools customer and donate the value of their monthly service fee (up to $200) to a Las Vegas charity. That customer gets to choose from the three nonprofits we support @friendsredrock @theanimalfoundation @uwsn. And to make an even bigger impact, we’ll match the donation — doubling the gift. TOGETHER, WE’RE MAKING A DIFFERENCE RIGHT HERE IN OUR CITY.

It's Small Business Week, and I have something exciting to share! 😃 📢 Many of you know about my passion for entrepreneurship. I write & talk about products from small businesses whenever I can, but I wanted to do more. After my Mom passed away in 2023, a few family members and I started thinking about Mom's legacy and our family's legacy. Mom was an OG entrepreneur; she bootstrapped and ran a beauty boutique for over 15 years on Threadneedle Alley in Newburyport, MA. And the family is FULL of entrepreneurs. So, @BodgeCindy, @AmySam627, and I formed @ThreadneedleAlleyOrg, a 501(c)(3) that will provide grants and mentorship to its grant winners (that's us in the pic, at the actual Threadneedle Alley!) 🪡 Our focus will be on entrepreneurs 40+ who are experiencing financial challenges. And our badass board and bench of mentors will be on hand to guide our winners. I will be introducing them to you soon enough. As we get up and running, we'd LOVE a follow on IG and/or LinkedIn. 💛 If you are interested in applying for our grants, applications should open later this year. Saturday lunch in the city with Joe, Tenn, and Lu. 
Joe and I met in ‘94 when I was an intern at Landor in San Francisco. We were introduced by one of my favorite co-interns, @tonyahudsonclinton , who, along with Joe, was part of the UCincinnati crew that were in SF for the Spring rotation. They were all lovely people and exceptional designers. Their midwest expat goodness made them all kindred spirits and Joe and I became fast friends, geeking out about type and exploring North Beach and the Lower Haight in the mid 90s. 
A few years later Joe asked me to be one of his groomsmen in Cincinnati when he and Leslie got married. That was fun.
We talk on the phone now a lot more than we get to see each other, so this was a nice thing. Joe has been, and continues to be, one of my biggest cheerleaders. Thanks Joe.
