Jackie is also the author of the Gospel anthem, "My Help." This song was recorded by Bam Crawford's Purpose, CeCe Winans and Donnie McClurkin, and is sung in churches around the globe." - bio from "Raising Kings"

Today marks the third day that several hearts are in heavy mourning here on earth. Simultaneously, our heavens are rejoicing. I can only imagine the questions that are currently taking place. I met this beautiful soul via my mother @tonyasbrush , and @jgouche made me/us feel like family instantly. Our family has been inexpressibly impacted by her efficacious love in such a short time.

However, you would've thought that she was a part of our family our whole lives. And I'm sure she has made numerous beings feel the way I felt/feel as well,
and yet still so genuine and unique for each one of us!

My mother was SO excited about stumbling into her life because she knew people like Jackie are very few and between.

My mother and Jackie created quite the bond given so many similar characteristics and convictions, that made it make sense for it to be that special indeed. I believe great people are drawn to one another. For what it's worth, my entire heart goes out to all of her loved ones, husband, sons, whole family, church family and friends, etc.

I'm a better person because you shared her with many of us! I have never ceased to pray since the accident, and now prayers are directed towards all of you. Her bigger than life presence, glow, and warmth will be missed in this world, and yet she's the kind of soul that can never be forgotten! Rest in the presence of Christ Jackie 💯🙏🏾☝🏾

Alas, the last day of the #SundanceFilmFestival 🥲💪🏾👏🏾
I am so proud of my FAV @lakisarenee and I.

Though @sundanceorg went virtual this year, it was still intense and super fun! 🎬📽🎞📷📸

The past couple of weeks we worked extra hard and had a blast conducting so many interviews, attending film premieres & screenings, attending press junkets, panels, Q&A’s, and partaking in so many activities #Sundance2022 had to offer!

Not to mention, keeping up with Sundance emails is not for the faint at heart lol 💪🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Shoutout to everyone who make @sundanceorg possible, who had their films selected this year, and to all the journalists who were chosen to cover this prestigious industry festival which is the largest in the United States.

I look forward to attending in person when it’s safe to do so again.

These photos were taken on this day in 2017. LaKisa and I have come such a long way since then. Two Women In Media & Entertainment who wholeheartedly support one another and always will!
