What's your best advice for couples who work together?👫👇 ⠀
⠀
This is our first year in business together as a couple (and a married one at that!). As we're sure anyone who has ever worked with their partner before can understand, it has its ups and downs. ⠀
⠀
On the one hand, it's awesome.🙌 We get to spend time with each other every day! And we get to dictate how, when, and where we work. ⠀
⠀
But, it also has its obstacles. Some of the biggest challenges we're facing are:⠀
⠀
🍽️Trying to not talk about work at the dinner table⠀
⠀
🍷Finding the time to "turn off" work and simply relax together (especially because our prime "I'm-in-the-zone" work modes are often at different times of the day)⠀
⠀
🗣️Communicating our opinions to each other in a clear and professional way⠀
⠀
If you work with your partner (or have in the past) we've love your best piece of advice. Shout it out below!👇⠀

I was just a kid with an idea for a product and vision for a brand that stood for something important.

5 years ago this week I launched my Kickstarter campaign for WOLACO. Looking back on it the thing I am most proud of was my willingness at that time, with zero startup experience and all the naïveté in the world, to simply put myself out there. The scariest part of starting a business is putting that thing that you’ve created out to the public. This was my big leap. Staring down a camera and delivering lines was something I’d never done, it was uncomfortable, but I appreciated the process because I realized in the moment that through it I was picking up a new skill. One of my biggest takeaways at this early stage was that if you have a passion that you are brave enough to pursue, those in your network and immediate circles will support and have complete respect for the fact that you were willing to go for it. So never be afraid, once you take the leap the world will start opening up for you simply out of respect for your bravery. I want to thank those people in my life early early on that supported me and my crazy ambitions. 🙏
