🖤 Art Reveal 🖤

@tonyviento blew my mind with this incredible illustration for my upcoming dark monster fantasy romance, Daughter of the Northern Night.

She nailed the mood, Dagmar looks stunning (and just the right ratio of enraged and enthralled), and Glaucus’s FACE. It’s unbelievable. His expression doesn’t just capture the moment, it perfectly captures his character.

Which art piece convinced you? And yes, I’m sitting on much more (which I’ll continue to reveal for our 5 week countdown to THIS WRETCHED ALCHEMY).

Thank you to all the talented artists who have brought Revel & Axus to life (all are tagged). I am proud to have worked with you.

this book was ultra specifically written for the reader who wants: an enemies (for 80% of the book) to lovers, a ratio of 61% fantasy plot and 39% romance plot, pathetic yearning, multiple 🔪 attempts, hard world building and emotional devastation where you throw your book across the room but pick it back up 5 seconds later.

Be warned, the exclusive character tarot cards are ONLY available when you preorder, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

Ps- I am about to start on a couple new commissions. What scene do you want to see next?

ARC REVIEW ✨

This Wretched Alchemy by Tina Mars

This was an easy 4.5⭐️ from me!

To set the premise: In a world ruled by warring noble Houses and the tyrannical Prime, power comes from god-shards — divine fragments that grant abilities to those who possess them. Revel (our FMC) is thrown into a deadly contest for a god-shard after her House is destroyed and her family is captured… and she has everything to fight for. But winning means facing the formidable Warbringer — and he isn’t quite what she expected. 👀

Deadly Trials ⚔️
Enemies to lovers ❤️‍🔥
Yearning 🔥
Political intrigue ⚖️
Unique magic system ✨

The magic system was so unique, the plot was packed with twists and turns, and just when I thought I had things figured out, another betrayal would come along and completely throw me.

If you like books with trials (think Ascended, Serpent in the Wings of the Night, Trial of the Sun Queen); morally grey everyone (think Zodiac Academy, Never Keep, the Bridge Kingom) and unique magic systems (think One Dark Window, Riftborne, Daughter of No Worlds) - then this book is a must read for you.

It has EVERYTHING and more.

And that ending?! I just need to know more. Like, I need book two today because I have SO many questions and I am absolutely not okay with being left like this 🤦🏽‍♀️🙈😭

A huge thank you to @tinamarsbooks , @netgalley & @harpercollinsuk for the ARC. 🤍

The amazing artwork is by @newtmaan and @tonyviento

Available for preorder on Amazon and Waterstones!

Let me introduce you to Amara and Thane from the Echoes of Lumoria series…

📖 ELEMENTAL AWAKENING | BOOK ONE

Amara survives grief, loss, and a life that no longer feels like her own.

Then she crosses paths with Thane, the powerful Warlord of the Fire Clan, and discovers the truth about herself is far more dangerous than anything she could have imagined.

She is Spiritborn.

Able to wield all four elements in a world where power is divided among the clans, Amara could change the balance of Lumoria forever.

But first, she has to learn to control the magic awakening inside her, survive those who would rather see her dead, and figure out what to do about the infuriatingly protective Warlord who seems determined to stand beside her through all of it.

And Thane?

He falls first.
He falls HARD.
And once he does, there is absolutely no going back. 🔥

⚔️ ELEMENTAL BECOMING | BOOK TWO

Amara survived her awakening.

Now she has to survive what comes next.

As her relationship with Thane deepens, the world around them becomes increasingly dangerous. Political tensions between the elemental clans are rising. An ancient enemy is moving in the shadows. Secrets buried for generations are beginning to surface.

And the more Amara learns about the Spiritborn, the Guardians, and the power growing inside her, the more she realizes her awakening was only the beginning.

Because something is coming for Lumoria.

Something that could unravel everything.

And this time, love may not be enough to stop it.

Helen’s new series has started off with a BANGER! And here’s the blurb:

Some bargains are sealed with blood...Others with fire...The deadliest are sealed with a kiss...

Saige Grayson has always believed stories could heal-even when her own body refuses to. As the most promising bookbinder in the capital, she’s learned to work through chronic pain and crushing debt, restoring other people’s treasures while trying not to fall apart herself. But when the man she owes decides her rare talent is worth more than her payments, Saige is traded to the Azkari-an immortal race forged by the gods for war—and imprisoned in their ancient stronghold. Her only chance of survival lies with Archer, a fallen Azkari general imprisoned beside her —cursed, dangerous, and impossible to ignore. He offers her a way out, and in return, Saige must help him retrieve and restore an ancient book. But the book is made of living magic, powerful enough to stop a great evil—or unleash it. And as Saige works with Archer, the tome begins to awaken something dark and dangerous-both in the realm and within her.

As their enemies close in and buried memories resurface, Saige and Archer must decide what they’re willing to their freedom, their fragile trust...or the spark that could ignite the world.

Don’t mind the spelling errors I was typing fast and forgot to fix them 😂

Just wow!! Honestly loved this one so much! At first I wasn’t in to it at the start but once it clicked for me I ATE it up!

I’m convincing you to read a series each week based on the artwork of the MMC. This week is Lucien Vanserra from the A Court of Thorns & Roses series.

This week we were gifted a sneak peak quote from Lucien from the upcoming release, A Court of Splintered Harmony (I find this title unfortunate.) And I wanted to focus on Lucien, our sweet angel baby. Lucien is so underrated! He is the comic relief of the series. He’s the chameleon that can fit in anywhere with anyone. He has an incredibly tragic backstory and he deserves some real happiness - whether that is with or without his fated mate, Elain.

Of course there are so many theories out there of not only what will happen in the series, but with Lucien, Elain, Azriel’s personal journeys. And I’m finding that I honestly don’t care who any of them end up with! I just want Lucien to have a good life. Plus, he’s a redhead (!!) with long hair (!!) which are personal weaknesses of mine.

Are you a fan of Lucien like I am?
