Mother Nature must’ve taken our frosé bribe to cool those temps down! This weekend has given us a sneak peek of prime pozole verde weather. 🍂

Our soup is slow-cooked with chicken, hominy, and tomatillo broth, then topped with habanero slaw, radish, and cilantro.

Spoons and @dlvtortillas corn chips are included. 😉🤤

9,000 years of history, 30 seconds to devour. 🌽

Before your fave street corn was a food cart staple, ancient Mesoamericans were transforming wild teosinte grass into elotl, a tender crop that sustained empires. Legend has it that Tlazocihuapilli, the only woman to rule the Xochimilcas in Mexico, inspired the very first recipe by simmering fresh kernels with epazote and crushed chilies.

That ancient tradition gave birth to esquites, derived from the Nahuatl language (ízquitl), meaning “toasted corn.” Fast forward through centuries of evolution, and we’re still obsesseddd with every citrus-cheese mixed bite!
