7 years in the books! 📚⚖️

Seven years ago, four people took a leap and started something of their own. 🎉 Since then, it’s been late nights, hard-fought wins, and a whole lot of growth. None of it would’ve been possible without the incredible team that shows up every single day to make it happen.

From where we started to where we are now, every file, every phone call has built the firm we’re proud of today. We’ve grown, we’ve learned, and we’ve had a lot of fun along the way. To everyone who’s been part of this journey, whether you’ve been here since day one or just joined the team, thank you.

Here’s to 7 years down, and many more to come. 🥂#salehiboyer #firmanniversary #7yearsold #miamilaw

🎉 CASE DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE 🎉

Another huge win for SBLL and our insurance carrier client!
This case centered on an alleged water leak in a guest bathroom that supposedly spread to multiple rooms. After a deep-dive investigation, our carrier client determined the leak was long-term in nature, and therefore not covered.
When the case went to litigation, our team went to work. Associate Alex Jung led a vigorous defense of the carrier’s investigation and adjustment, backing every step with the evidence. Through sharp discovery and strategic motion practice, opposing counsel was left with one option: dismiss with prejudice. 🙌

Huge congrats to Alex Jung on this incredible result! This is what happens when strategy meets execution. 🏆

👑🤴👸🏽👑Salehi Boyer’s first event as members of the FDCC, and they held it in a palace.
The Palacio Correio-Mor sits just outside Lisbon, the 18th-century estate of the family that served as Postmaster General to the Kingdom of Portugal, the people entrusted with carrying a nation’s letters, its news, and its trust. Formal gardens, a hedge labyrinth against the vineyard hills, frescoed halls, azulejo walls three centuries old, and that night, a red carpet running through the baroque gates with chandeliers glowing inside a silk pavilion.
Founding Shareholders, Scott Boyer, Esq. and Managing Shareholder, Tanaz Salehi walked in as the newest members of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, and they walked out feeling like a prince and princess. That is not an exaggeration and it is not really about the palace. It is about what the FDCC does on purpose: it welcomes you the way royalty is welcomed, because it believes the people it invites have earned that kind of arrival.
The truth behind the sparkle- this past year was a hard one for our SBLL family. To be received like this, with beauty and music and warmth in a garden built for kings, was more than a party. It was medicine. It was the reminder that seasons turn, that we are surrounded by extraordinary people, and that we are coming back at full force: for our clients, for the defense bar, for the FDCC, and for our firm, Salehi Boyer Lavigne Lombana.
Because that is what this organization actually is. Not a conference with a lanyard. An invitation-only fellowship of the finest defense lawyers, corporate counsel, and industry leaders from across the country and around the world, gathered not to collect contacts but to forge real friendships, the kind sealed over dinner under chandeliers, the kind that lasts entire careers. On SBLL’s very first night, strangers hugged us like old friends. By the last night, they were.
A mosaic of memories, and this was our first tile. Obrigada, FDCC. We are honored to belong. 👑🇵🇹

The FDCC saved Lisbon’s best trick for last.
SUD Lisboa sits right on the Tagus waterfront in Belém, a glass pavilion beside the MAAT museum with the 25 de Abril bridge filling the sky next door, built for exactly one kind of evening: the unforgettable kind. This is where explorers once set sail from, and where our week came home.
The Final Night is what the whole Annual Meeting builds toward. After the plenaries, the excursions, the galas, and a hundred conversations that started with a handshake and ended with plans, 580 members and their families gathered on one terrace to celebrate the week and each other. That is the real purpose of the night: not a closing ceremony, but a beginning ceremony for the friendships the week created.
And then Lisbon showed off. A huge red moon rose over the bridge, the kind you would not believe in a movie, and we danced under it until our feet gave out, with people who were strangers on Tuesday and are friends for good now.
Some conferences end with a keynote. Ours ended with a red moon, a dance floor on the river, and a promise to see each other next year.
Obrigada, SUD. Obrigada, FDCC. Até já, Lisboa. 🌕🇵🇹#sbll #salehiboyer #insurancedefense #FDCC #lisbon

🇵🇹🏰They called it A Mosaic of Memories. They were not exaggerating.
Salehi Boyer was proudly represented in Lisbon this week as Managing Shareholder Tanaz Salehi, Esq. attended the FDCC Annual Meeting, joined by Shareholder and Lead Trial Counsel Scott Boyer, and this reel is barely a corner of the tile.
The week opened with a gala at the Palacio Correio-Mor, a red carpet into a courtyard built in the 1700s. Mornings brought plenaries and section programming alongside some of the sharpest defense lawyers in the country, and yes, real notes were taken, because the learning at this level is real. The excursions felt like postcards: Cascais on a blue-sky Tuesday, an afternoon on the Tagus by catamaran with the whole city stacked on its hills. Home base was the Corinthia Lisbon, whose spa deserves a reel of its own. And the final night unfolded at SUD Lisboa on the waterfront: 580 colleagues, one dance floor, sparkles required and delivered.
Somewhere in that week, Tanaz Salehi, Esq. was formally inducted into the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, an invitation-only fellowship of the profession’s leading defense lawyers and corporate counsel in the country, and was appointed to leadership roles. It is a remarkable first week in an organization built on a simple truth our firm shares: careers are built on trust, and trust is built together, preferably somewhere with azulejos.
This is the sneak peek. The full mosaic does not fit in ninety seconds.
Congratulations, Tanaz. Obrigada, Lisboa. 🇵🇹✨
