🚨 A screen is only effective when you understand the reads behind it.

In this partner drill, we’re developing both sides of the action—properly setting and using the screen while connecting each coverage to the correct solution.

✅ Inside-hand pocket bounce pass to the roller
✅ Hook pass to the popping shooter
✅ Turn the corner and finish at the rim
✅ Create space and make the shot
✅ Play through misses without losing confidence or focus

The goal is bigger than memorizing two passes. We’re building timing, spacing, passing angles, decision-making, and the ability to recognize whether the screener should roll, pop, or create a new advantage.

Every repetition helps strengthen the tendencies and concepts players need to execute different actions under real game pressure.

Make the read. Trust the work. Play through mistakes.

1% better every day.

🧠 Train your brain. Expand your game.

👇 Comment “HOOP” or DM @HoopExpansion_ to train the reads behind the skills.
