@dljmfg found a good use for my pin jaws from @topmachllc . Had to drill and tap some screws on an old #stihl carb to the next larger size. #toppermachine #manualmachinist #jobshop

Super sweet bit of lipstick on the pig that is my old #kurt vise courtesy of Josh Topper @topmachllc . Been wanting to upgrade the vice jaws for a while now. These are going to be super handy for those #oddjobs . #thanks #manualmachinist #upgrade

Check out this 3-16mm import tapping arm. So far I’m very impressed with the build quality and ease of use. I purchased mine from sfx solutions. They also sell through Amazon. The form factor feels just right for use on the @langmuirsystems fab blocks. From the start I knew I wanted to add a 3d printed clip to keep the unit from spinning on me when moving it around the shop. Next it obviously needed a mount, so I build a fixture plate that integrates into the build pro alpha and my other fixture tables using the @prototrak_ mill! Third I needed a way to hold parts off the table, so I retrofitted the @fireballtool 1x2 fixture blocks and @strong_hand_tools adjustable stop blocks to act as pin jaws. Similar setup to the pin jaws sold by @topmachllc for use on a milling machine vise. So far I’m stoked on the setup! #tappingarm #fixturetable #tapping #pinjaws #machining
