A little behind the scenes if what it takes to bring a wedding cake to life...

Wedding cake setup day means carefully packing each tier, travelling with the cake and decorations, navigating every bump in the road, and hoping the journey is as smooth as possible!

Once we arrive, the work continues. Every tier needs to be handled with care, assembled and positioned perfectly, with every little detail checked and adjusted until everything is just right. We don't simply drop off a cake and leave. We stay, we check, we perfect, and we make sure it looks exactly as it should for your special day.

It's a huge responsibility knowing that something you've poured so many hours into will be part of one of the most memorable days in a couple's life. And honestly, seeing it all come together makes every early start, every late night and every careful mile worth it. 🤍

So next time you see a wedding cake sitting beautifully in a venue, remember there's a whole journey behind that final picture, from the first design to the very last finishing touch.

A little reminder that your wedding cake doesn’t always have to match the décor…

For this beautiful two-tier wedding cake, my bride didn’t want anything too bright or colourful on the cake. So instead of matching the vibrant florals surrounding the venue, I chose to keep the cake soft, elegant and timeless with beautiful beige and champagne tones 🤍

The cake features handmade wafer paper flowers, delicate textures and intricate detailing, creating a beautifully understated design that still makes a statement.

Sometimes the cake doesn’t need to blend into the décor — it can be the calm, elegant piece that complements everything around it. 🤍

I absolutely loved creating this one!
