Not here to win. Not here to lose.
I’m here to show myself, express myself, and create something unique. 🦴🔥

Make every movement unexpected.
Create your own language.
Break the limits.
Don’t follow the movement — become the movement. ⚡

Toph, a member of our dance community and a close friend of our longtime and beloved teammate @lam_sedechu.rk was detained by ICE at LAX on September 25th. She is currently being held at Adelanto Detention Center.

Toph came to the U.S. as a student in 2018. She earned her bachelor’s degree, worked as an accountant, and continued her education. She’s now finishing her studies at UC Irvine.

To the people who know her, she’s a friend who shows up for others with care and empathy. Now she needs her community to show up for her.

The link to support is here: Link to Support: https://gofund.me/bbffb8b97 and in our bio.

An attorney is working to secure her release and it looks like a hearing is set for next week. The fundraiser will help cover legal services, bond costs, and other legal needs as that effort continues.

Please donate whatever you can through the link in our bio. If you can’t donate, sharing this post or the fundraiser is another way to help - big gratitude for whatever you can do - contributing, sharing, everything helps!!

We’re also looking to connect with reporters and journalists in the LA area who could interview Toph and help tell her story. If that’s you, or someone you kno, please DM us or help make an introduction.

Dance brought us together. Let’s show Toph she has a whole community behind her ❤️

To our incredible DanceFight family 💙
For the past five years, this community has meant the world to us. One of the most inspiring things has been seeing dancers from 30+ countries connect through their shared love of dance. That kind of global connection through passion and art feels more important now than ever.

Over the last year, we’ve quietly been building something new, shaped by everything this community has taught us.
We’re excited to introduce TopThis - a global stage for original talent of all kinds, including dancers, singers, musicians, beatmakers, and more. It’s built for people who are passionate about their craft and want to grow, connect, and share what they love with others around the world.
For our dancers, TopThis opens up even more opportunities to develop your skills, challenge yourself, and connect with other passionate people across the globe.

Like DanceFight, this isn’t about trends. It’s about being yourself, doing what you love, and growing through your craft.
We’ll be launching on iOS in the next week, with Android coming shortly after. Follow @topthisapp to stay in the loop, and please feel free to DM us any feedback.

DanceFight isn’t going anywhere, once we have the bandwidth, tournaments will be back and better than ever.
Thank you for being part of this journey and helping us build a home for talent everywhere. Let’s keep pushing and growing together! 🤲
