Senior night capped off an extraordinarily intense week for our family. Early Monday we received the news our precious cousin @katie.hoffman.1420 had lost her courageous battle with cancer and within minutes learned my nephew’s wife was in labor. The juxtaposition of these two vastly different things happening simultaneously rocked us. As we navigated the week we received a handful of additional unexpected events including our dad being transferred to Methodist (he is recovering well). Friday started after a sleepless night in Indy, followed by a beautiful funeral where my boys had the honor of being pallbearers for Katie. We made it back to Bloomington in time to walk Charlie out for Senior night and to our surprise, our family showed up in droves. They hooted, hollered, beeped, danced, and cheered. It might seem like a bizarre way to grieve but my heart was so full to be together. I was overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who showed up in support of our entire family for Katie, my dad, my nephew, and Charlie. As we grieve this enormous loss we are leaning in, showing up and lifting those who need us. So many friends and family have helped, sitting with my dad so we could be in all the other places we needed to be. I look forward to memorializing Katie by example, in action and love for others, and snuggling this precious new babe in our family.❤️

If there is anything I love more than real estate, it is watching my kids play youth sports. Gah! 8th grade night in the books for @notjack1326 and I am in my feelings. There is nothing like it. 🖤💛

Morris kids are undefeated this week!!! Starting their seasons strong. So proud of all 4 of them. We have quite a fan base of family and friends. We appreciate all of the support. Thank you for leaning in and loving on all of us. ❤️🏐🏈🎉

When your grandmother turns 98 years old, you have a party and then take her to @mother_bears_bloomington for 98% off. Her bill was $1.12 and I split it with my cousin.
We also found a 50 year old @bandaidbrand tin at her house today. She is aging like a fine wine. My kids cannot stop talking about how sharp she is and how well she gets around. We are so blessed to celebrate her. 🎉🍕🩹❤️
