Which location and design concept speaks to you?

What I’m most excited about for the 2027 Design Residency is this - every city has its own luxury design concept, inspired by the venue and the city itself.

📍 Charleston @ourplaceon17 | Lowcountry Luxury
📍 Houston @sandlewoodmanor | Refined Estate
📍 Philadelphia @cairnwood | The New Gilded Age
📍 Washington DC @eventsdar | Modern Neoclassical Romance
📍 Nashville @cherokee.dock | Golden Hour

Colors will be revealed in the months ahead, but one thing you can be sure of: this is no generic workshop or styled shoot. I’m bringing the same level of intention I bring when designing for a client.

Planners and creatives who attend will walk through the full design process with me. We won’t just talk about it. As you learn what it takes to bring the layers of a luxury event design together, you’ll help bring it to life, in collaboration with @intrigue_designs and @styledshootsacrossamerica

Missed early access registration? Comment the city you want to join me in, and I’ll send you something special. ✨

It was so fun designing this Ralph Lauren inspired baby shower. This couple was super busy leading up to this celebration and trusted me 100% to execute their vision. Their schedules didn’t allow them to join me for rental showroom visits, but I was able to send photos and record videos explaining their options and what choices I thought would work best. The end result was something that we were very proud of. This is a popular theme, so we wanted to make sure that ours was unique. Ultimately we were able to capture the classic Ralph Lauren feel without it being too literal or feeling redundant. @marciaalphonsodesign understood, expanded upon, and executed my floral requests perfectly. This is proof that when a client gives their vendor team creative freedom and trusts their vision, magic happens! 🍂🍁

Night in Baltimore with @pantorabridal✨

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of celebrating the grand opening of Pantora Bridal’s stunning new Baltimore location—and every detail was a dream. From the mauve velvet walls to the gorgeously feminine interior design, the breathtaking gowns, and the incredible energy in the room… it was pure perfection!

I’ve known Owner/ Designer @andrea_pittercampbell for years and have had several brides say yes to the dress at her New York boutique. She is a true creative and innovative entrepreneur. If you watched her journey on Project Runway, you already know the brilliance she brings to bridal fashion. I’m so excited to see what she creates next in Charm City.

DMV brides—add Pantora Bridal in Fells Point to your dress shopping list. And let’s continue to celebrate and support Black women–owned businesses. 🤍✨
