Better late than never! Wow what a year 2025! From building a brand new career, throat surgery, rehearsals, shows & preparing myself for take off in 2026. I didn’t show too much of this becasue of course the lows are not shared as much as the highs. But my first half of 2025 was constant battling with pain and sickness, doctors visits, searching for answers, cancelled shows, cancelled studio sessions, searching for doctors, finding out the ugly truth that what I had recurring severe bronchitis, trying anything and everything to not undergo surgery. The hardest battle of all was not being able to live a normal life, I couldn’t workout, I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, I couldn’t heal without any medicine: constant pushing of antibiotics, steroids, repeat. I finally had the opportunity, chance and support to undergo surgery which was scary and hard. I questioned, as a singer would I have the same voice, could I sing again, what would I sound like? Post surgery was worse than anything else the pain and agony of sitting with these thoughts for 2 weeks, as well as, not being able to speak for 2 weeks was mental and physical pain. From drugs to more drugs I kept having to medicate to even feel some bit of relief. I say all that to say I am SO glad I did the surgery. I went from getting sick once a month to only having a cold once in 6 months. I was able to have my body fully heal without any meds, antibiotics or steroids. I was back to being able to schedule shows, and live like a healthy 25 now 26 year old. It was a scary leap forward but it was a leap forward in the right direction. I can’t thank my family, friends and work enough for helping me through that traumatic and dark time. On a positive note, I completely started a brand new career in DJing which I fully dove into learning from scratch to graduating DJ school. I was ready to bring on a new adventure in my life. I thank all of the people who have pushed my music, inspired me and supported me. It is scary to start a whole new career and wonder am I even good enough? Thanx to all my bookings, I pray for even more growth and success this year within my new career and can’t wait to see where it goes.
