Crafting and staying “Out The Way”……

The picture on the right is my nephew stopping in Valdosta on his way to college in Florida just to see Jaden. The picture on the left is from when they were little boys—I think it was 1st grade. I’ve taken a picture of these two on their first day of school since elementary school.
Lord… looking at these pictures could make me cry.
In a world that can be so challenging, these are two incredible young men. Smart. Intelligent. Handsome. Athletic. Respectful. They love the Lord, and they were raised by two amazing families.
As you both leave the bubble you’ve been in (even though you probably didn’t always think you were in one), never forget the foundation that was poured into you.
Always be leaders, never followers.
Be careful about who you allow into your circle. Stay around like-minded, goal-oriented people who challenge you to become better.
This is not the destination—it’s only a stepping stone to everything God has planned for your lives.
Be coachable. Put in the extra work when nobody is watching. Character is built in the dark long before success is celebrated in the light.
Know that it’s okay to walk away from people, situations, or opportunities that don’t align with your future. Your purpose is greater than temporary acceptance.
Pray. Pray. And then pray some more.
And most of all, never forget that between the Watts-Costin family and the Jackson-Davis family, you have an entire army behind you. We are praying for you, cheering for you, and believing in everything God has in store for your lives.
I love you both beyond words. Now go chase your dreams…
I’ll see y’all on that football field. ❤️🏈
