Menopause Muffin Top? Heres what to do about It

Stuck in the middle with menopause belly

Pants fit tighter, belts need to be let out, and your diet hasnt changed in years. What's going on? Fat increases are due to shifts in your hormones .
Understanding which hormones are changing is the key.
👉Estrogen
It is estrogen dominance that increases abdominal fat. What is it ? When estrogen is reduced in perimenopause, it is disproportionately higher than the other female hormone, progesterone. The imbalance can cause estrogen to go wild and dominate
👉Cortisol
The "fight or flight" hormone. It is triggered by estrogen. When estrogen declines, cortisol rises and throws your metabolism off.
👉Insulin
Accumulation of abdominal fat is linked to insulin resistance and visceral fat.
👉Leptin
Hormone that signals you are full. Elevated insulin usually results in elevated leptin.
Thyroid
Unbalanced with age. Balance with diet and exercise.

What can you do about menopause belly?
✅️1. Stop eating muffins. Consider intermittent fasting
✅️2. Move the muffin..stop sitting and 30 minutes of strength training
✅️3. Give the muffin a break - get 7-8 hours of sleep. Lack of sleep increases insulin resistance and changes in leptin.

We will cover this and more in my February challenge group.

Can I ask that you give me 30 days to show you???

At 56 muffin top doesn't have to be apart of your life..it should only be on a muffin

Do you know what it’s like to be in a “stretching season”??

𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑮𝑶𝑫 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘, 𝑯𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆!

What if that is what this season has been all about? God is stretching you! He’s increasing your capacity.

I know it’s challenging and I know it’s uncomfortable. But when God gets done with you…you won’t even remember what you had to go through! It was necessary!

As a 56 year old menopause specialist my top tip for women goijg through menopause

1. Stop doing so much cardio and start lifting. Aerobic activity will not help with the visceral fat or that unwanted belly fat. You never to lift for bone density and muscle mass.
Doctors won't tell you but this one will

Be careful what you pray for…you just might get it.

What if every trial, negative circumstance, or set back was God’s way of transforming YOU 🫵 so that you could receive everything YOU 🫵 prayed 🙏 for?

What if the way to glorious resurrection is through gruesome, embarrassing crucifixion?

What if God is producing something new, radical, and different in YOU 🫵 and that’s why you’re misunderstood right now?

What if the breaking you’re feeling is for the blessing you’re going to receive?

The Prayer of Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:10) is soooo powerful. Ask God for:

1. Blessings (more than you need to survive personally)

2. Influence (that you can use that extra to move someone else closer to Him)

3. Presence (it is impossible to do all that God has called us to do in our own strength…we need Him!”)

4. Protection (stop every attack of the enemy)

And the Bible says that “God answered his request.” AMEN!!

Proverbs 18:16 “𝑨 𝒎𝒂𝒏’𝒔 𝒈𝒊𝒇𝒕 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝑩𝑬𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑬 𝒈𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒏.”

The word 𝑩𝑬𝑭𝑶𝑹𝑬 is interesting. In English, it can mean “in the presence of,” but it can also mean “ahead of.”

When you work your gift 🎁 for His glory, God has a way of letting you jump to the head of the line.

Discover what God put in you, use it for His glory, and watch how He opens doors for you like never before 🙌🏾
