Flare pants. Studded jacket. Said like a man who has been this person his whole life and was only waiting for the right occasion to confirm it.

So we asked: if you had stayed in law full time, what would that version of you make of this one?

“I think you would admire him. Because even the full-fledged lawyer was a little bit stylish.”

Different Oxfords to court. Tie on point. Shirt classic. The lawyer and the fashion boy were never opposites. Same man, different rooms, both of them watching everybody and finding the story in how people move. This version just made it out of the courtroom and onto the cover.
