Feeling so grateful to have been part of Wealth Through Property today 🤍🏡

It was lovely to share my journey so far, the lessons I’ve learned along the way and what’s next for me. When I look back at how far I’ve come, it’s amazing to see how much I’ve learned and how much my mindset has changed.

It was also so lovely to see so many people investing in themselves, educating themselves and taking steps towards their own property journey.

If sharing my experience helps even one person feel inspired to take that first step, then that means so much to me. ✨

Excited for what’s next! 🤍

🚨 YOUR ROOF COULD BE RUSTING FROM THE INSIDE OUT… AND YOU WOULDN’T EVEN KNOW IT! 😱

Two roof sheets. One hidden microclimate. A costly mistake!

Here’s a perfect example of what can happen when new metal roof sheets are installed directly over existing ones.

💧 Moisture becomes trapped between the sheets through condensation, capillary action or water ingress.

⚠️ With nowhere to dry out, a concealed microclimate develops, accelerating corrosion between the two layers.

🔍 THE RESULT?

The roof starts rusting from the inside out!

As you can see, corrosion has become so severe that holes have developed around the end laps, compromising the roof’s weathertightness.

And here’s the worrying part…

By the time you see the rust, the damage underneath could already be extensive!

💡 THE LESSON?

Over-sheeting isn’t necessarily the problem. Poor design and installation are!

Proper separation, moisture management, ventilation where required and competent installation are essential.

🏗️ A roof that looks new on the outside could be deteriorating underneath.

At PLS Surveys Ltd, we uncover hidden roofing defects before they become expensive problems.

I wasn’t able to make the last PWS event, so it was a really nice surprise to find out I’d won the award for Best Buy, Refurb, Refinance.

I just wanted to say a genuine thank you to @touchstoneeducation and everyone involved. A lot of what I’ve learned over the years has helped shape the way I approach property today, so it’s lovely to have that recognised.

I’m sorry I couldn’t be there to accept it in person, but I’m genuinely grateful.

Thank you, Touchstone. Really appreciate this one.

One I never actually shared… 📖

Back in June, I was proud to be featured on the front cover of Touchstone’s Success Story Magazine, reaching a community of around 30,000 members and further afield

The feature was about building a profitable 6-property portfolio in just over 12 months something that, when I look back, I’m genuinely proud of

But the number of properties is only part of the story

It represents the decision I made to take property seriously, step outside my comfort zone, invest in myself, learn from people who’ve been there, done it and take consistent action.

There have been plenty of challenges, mistakes, long days and lessons along the way… but brick by brick, things have moved forward. 🧱

And to be trusted with the front cover of a magazine within a community of around 30,000 people was a pretty special milestone

I just never got around to sharing it! 🤦🏼‍♂️

A lot has changed since this was published in June and there’s still plenty more to build. 🚀

Today, I’m also helping other investors build property portfolios across the North West, sourcing opportunities and taking the hands-on work out of property investing for those who want a more hands-off approach.

If you’re interested in investing in the North West and want to explore what’s possible, drop me a DM. 📩

Just under four months ago - I had my left knee totally replaced after a serious injury leaving me unable to function.
Today - I have just completed walking (I am not allowed to even jog ... yet...) in just under 1.5 hours a 5-mile Bedford Charity Chase around Turvey way where we have raised over £7000 for charity.
Lovely course; great views and wonderful vibe generally.
I was last because I was walking it with the Tail Walker, Eva. Did I care? No - and the welcome by participants as I got to the Finish Line was fantastic. (Thanks, if you were there!)
Thanks to my wife Deborah for arranging it.
So - if anyone is facing total knee replacement (TKR) or has just had one done - be assured - keep positive; you will recover and you will get out there again.
Onwards and upwards!

✨ 9.5K IN A WEEK ✨

Following on from our success interview with Paul Smith. Our best month at S & M Inspire Properties was £9.5K…

This week, we’re incredibly proud to say we’ve matched that £9.5K in just ONE WEEK. 🙏🏽🔥

A moment we’re genuinely grateful for. We never take the wins for granted, and we pray we’re blessed with many more weeks like this.

The goal has always been simple: keep growing, keep learning and keep raising the standard.

Your biggest competition isn’t anyone else.

It’s the person you were yesterday.

Work hard. Play harder.
Stay humble. Stay hungry. Keep going. 💫
