Easter Sunday and this was the last bottle “bottled” after a busy processing, finishing and bottling Easter weekend. 🍁💛
I’m the “poster” for our instagram and always working behind the scenes. Had to share this pic because I’m wearing a special hat 🥹💜 ( it was very cold last Sunday) it belonged to Walt’s mom. 🥰 Wearing it kind of felt like she was with us in spirit. 🪽
When Walt decided to tap some of our maple trees in 2020 (the covid shut down prompted this pursuit) he brought out some old taps that his mom had given him when he was about 10 years old. Crazy that he had saved them all these years but it was a perfect time to bring them out and put them to use.
So ultimately his mom is part of Happy Sap’s story and wearing this fabulous hat is one way to honour and remember her! ♥️

Spring Sound Training @kikos_pace begins Nov 7. This training is so dear to me and an honour to share. This offering combines all my teachings into one immersive experience to educate, ignite and inspire you to connect with deep listening, sound bath creation, responsible space holding and finding your unique voice. I accept a maximum of 10 students to allow for individual attention and lots of time to play and explore instruments and soundscapes. Scholarships and payment plans are available ~ please visit link in bio for more info.

Thank you to @nikisaint for creating all the Kiko magic graphics

It’s almost that time of year again... 🍁yes it’s a very cold day today but soon the sap will be running.
So grateful for the beautiful maple trees on our property that bring so much delight to so many.
🤎🧡❤️
Maple trees are sacred trees. They offer protection and blessings and also represent renewal and healing.
Shout out to the mighty oaks too for their strength, endurance, wisdom and divine protection of the forest and the shelter they provide for so many creatures. 💚
🐿️ 🦉
If you’re interested in participating this year on the sap brigade or would just like to experience maple magic 🍁🪄 please let me know!
We would like to plan a special day for “honouring the maple trees” and we will keep you posted about this.
It will involve supporting Odeiwin an Indigenous-led organization in York Region.

Happy Saps are back in action!
🍁Let the 2025 maple syrup season begin!
We had a beautiful, sunny day (later in the season than usual for us to tap our trees)
143 taps are in place. ♥️🤗🙏🏽Hugs and gratitude to all of our 🍁maple trees who provide this beautiful bounty of sap.
Nature is truly remarkable 💚

We will be looking for bucketeers to help empty the buckets! Looks like this week we’re going to have some gushers! Busy, busy!! 😋🤪😎
