Our Typewriter Project made its way to @accentsisters, inviting visitors to sit down, tap a few keys, and add their voices to a collective poem.

Inspired by the Surrealist writing game Exquisite Corpse, The Typewriter Project brings strangers together through the simple act of writing, capturing the thoughts, stories, and poetic subconscious of our city, one line at a time ✨

A huge thank you to @accentsisters for welcoming us into their beautiful space, and to everyone who left a little piece of themselves on the page 📜

Curious about The Typewriter Project? Explore the poetry we’ve created together at our link in bio!

TOVA Deserves Better Than This Poem

What a small miracle, to dream a concept, watch it fill with a theory of names, via emails, watch those theories become stories, then poems, then pieces of your heart, a new community you forged together in the woods up North.

No one else I'd rather have planned, sweated & embraced thru every step with @tovagreene & @beroqueenspoet 💝

Thank-you to every single person who made PoCamp the magic that it was ✨🙏

And thank you to everyone who came with their hearts open. You made Poetry Camp the magic that it was ✨

We already miss the poems, the woods, the late nights, the shared meals, and all of you. Poetry Camp, we’ll love you forever 🏕️💛

This year’s #NYCPOFEST was truly an odyssey.

We weathered storms (literally), condensed an entire weekend into one unforgettable day, and somehow ended up with more poems, more connection, and more magic than we could have imagined.

From book vendors and art installations to poetic fortunes, unforgettable readings, and conversations with the poets who inspired us — thank you to every single person who made the journey and became part of the magic.

A special thank you to our fearless leader, @tovagreene , whose vision and determination carried us through every unexpected plot twist in the journey.

And thank you to our incredible staff, volunteers, production crew, poets, booksellers, artists, and partners who made this festival possible. We could not do this without you.

If this festival meant something to you, help us keep the magic alive. Become a PSNY member for just $5/month and support accessible poetry programming all year long including helping keep the NYC Poetry Festival free and open to all. Learn more in our bio 🪭

Until next year, Odysseans!
