They had already said “I do.”

So this day was never about doing it all over again.

It was about gathering the people they love, making room for family, and celebrating the life they had already begun building together.

At Tower Beach Club, Kristen and Devin created something that felt less like a traditional wedding and more like a reflection of them. The ocean nearby, family gathered close, and pieces of Kristen’s roots in Kauai woven into the celebration through traditional Hawaiian dancing.

A little quieter. A little more intentional.

It’s been officially one month of being MARRIED to the love of my life and now HUSBAND Austin! I could not have imagined a more happy day in my whole life than our wedding day. The amount of love we were surrounded by with our favorite people is still so surreal. It was a destination for most of our family and friends (nationally and internationally!) and they made our wedding weekend SO SPECIAL!! Austin and I have always valued the people in our lives and we felt the full reciprocal love from EVERYONE 🥹 The way everyone showed up, helped, supported, and CELEBRATED us has truly left us feeling nothing but emotional in the best way possible! We love you all and appreciate each one of you more than you know 🩵

The vendors who came together and made my vision come true and made this such a BEAUTIFUL day, we couldn’t thank you enough 🩵

After 2 years of wedding planning, 4 years dating, we are officially Mr. & Mrs. Herr!! I thank God for putting you in my life as my best friend. I’m so freaking happy and excited to be your wife, Austin.

A wedding that never took itself too seriously, but still felt effortlessly stylish. Their dress code was quite literally “groovy” and their day was full of color, champagne, heart-shaped sunglasses, waterfront views, and a whole lot of laughter.

I think my favorite detail was Sophia’s dress. She walked down the aisle in the same white dress she wore to her high school graduation. The place where she and Jeff first met. More than a decade later, it became her wedding dress.

Right on the shores of San Diego, Sophia & Jeff made their wedding feel like one big celebration of where they’ve been, who they are, and everyone they love. These photos feel exactly like them. A little nostalgic, a little groovy, and a whole lot of fun.
