❓❔Frequently Asked Question: If the weather ends up being bad on the day of our outdoor session what happens? 🅰️Answer: There are a couple of other possible options that could be offered depending on the situation. On days when I have an outdoor session booked and the Alberta weather is looking unpredictable I always set up my in-home studio as an emergency back-up plan if the weather decides to get ugly. Depending on the weather - as long as it is safe - there is a possibility of continuing the shoot outside and embracing whatever the weather may be; sometimes a rain storm or light snow fall can add a beautiful element to images. **Please note this is not an option on days where there's a forecast of extreme cold (-20C), unsafe blizzard conditions, or Thunderstorms in the area. If the heart is set on it being outside on a beautiful day, rescheduling is also an option, but the factor of the unpredictable weather in Alberta continues to be a risk. Let's get you scheduled while the beautiful fall days are remaining! ~ Chantel Bruins, Fantasy Studios Oasis #fantasystudiosoasis #frequentlyaskedquestion #localphotographer #backupplans

1,000 people are about to land on 3rd Avenue. If you own a business in High River, you still have time. Heartland Season 20 world premiere is tonight. Doors at 5. Screening at 7. Sold out. Crowds are already coming in. What to do now: 1. Story. Film 10 seconds of prep. Kitchen, specials board, window, staff. Pin the location. 2. Feed post. One photo. Say you’re open, until when, and what’s on tonight. 3. Google Business Profile. Post an update with a photo, and set today’s hours. That’s what shows on Maps when someone searches “open now.” 4. Hours everywhere. Door, Google, story, feed. If you’re open later for dinner or coffee, say the time. 5. Tonight only. Restaurants: one drink and one plate, with the price. Retail: one thing a visitor can grab in five minutes. Restaurants and cafes, also do this: - Last seating and walk-in vs reservation. People will not guess. - A premiere special on the board outside, not only on your phone. - Photo of the actual plate or drink. Not the logo. - After 9, post what’s still open. That’s the second wave. Retail, also do this: - Window sign: open late, and until when. - Photo of the gift, local product, or small thing someone buys on the way past. - A simple bundle if you have one. Don’t invent a sale you can’t ring through. Use the words people are already searching: Heartland, High River, downtown. Showing up on your own page is how they find you once they’re already on the street. Heartland | CBC Calgary | High River

Today we stand, dressed in our orange shirts, in solidarity and support of Truth and Reconciliation day with the First Nations Indigenous people of this land! Learning and understanding the full history of Canada comes with recognition that traumatic events and experiences took place on these lands, children were taken to school and never returned home, women and children going missing and being murdered- the kind of trauma that is carried into the hearts of future generations for years to come! My heart is with every individual and family that has been affected through the generations of harsh treatment. I am committed to raising my son to show kindness to everyone he encounters, no matter their background, race, level of ability, or anything else! When love is given freely as a gift with no strings attached, everyone feels the benefits! Let love rise and treat others as you want to be treated. ~ Chantel Bruins, World Universal Spirit of Canada 2026 #truthandreconciliation #orangeshirtday #letloverise #sharekindness #supportingindigenouscommunities
