Zephyr Class of 1979 Where do I start? I am so very thankful and very happy for you on the release of your new book. It is extraordinary, not just by the sheer size of it, but by the content of the years that I see reflected in it as they were also part of my youth. Thank you for including and remembering me in that adventure. I can recall that day in the One tunnel we were painting back to back, truly a remarkable time. As I reflect back and remember that was the first time you and I painted at the One tunnel. Fun times in our city. Why Not? Not sure many ever met “Why not?” I came across him as he was slapping up his “tag” on an uptown Dyre Ave express at Grand Central Station one rush hour day. As he finished slapping his sticker I walked into the subway car and he turned to exit and bumped into me. We looked at each other I looked up at his tag and back at him and he just smiled and walked out of the train to disappear into the crowd of thousands of New Yorkers who push and pull around the entrance of the train hoping to get on. Thank you for gift of memories and the book that delivered them to me. 🙏🏽 Especially fun to see “slap” on the packaging. 🙌🏽👨🏽‍🎨👏🏽🤗✍🏽 #kel1strocstarsofgraffiti #bronx #newyorkcity #brooklyn #kel139
