I’ve been spending a lot of money on myself lately.

And I’ve been thinking about why.

Not because I want more stuff. Not because I’m chasing another title or accomplishment.

But because I’ve come to realize something.

The more valuable I become, the more value I can bring to the people around me.

As an entrepreneur, speaker, and coach, I have some pretty big ambitions. But those ambitions come with a responsibility.

If I want to help people achieve more, I need to keep becoming someone who’s capable of helping them get there.

And that’s where I had a bit of an epiphany.

I can’t expect my impact to grow if I’m not intentionally growing myself.

But I also realized that spending money on personal development doesn’t automatically make me better.

I can buy the courses, attend the events, surround myself with incredible people, and consume all the information in the world.

But none of that guarantees growth.

I need to know exactly who I’m trying to become, what skills I need to develop, and how I’m going to put what I’m learning into practice.

That’s what I’ve been working on lately.

Getting clearer on my goals, reverse-engineering the skills and experiences needed to achieve them, and building a deliberate process to continuously improve.

Not just collecting knowledge. Actually developing the ability to use it.

And the more I work through this, the more I realize that this is exactly what the Prime Performance Process is designed to help people do.

Because investing in yourself is only the beginning. Becoming someone who can do more with that investment is the real return.

If you’ve been investing in yourself but struggling to turn that investment into meaningful progress, DM me 2027.

I’d love to show you the process I’m using myself.

Recently, my girl @toya_simone77 published her third book, Rising Above It All - self-doubt, Insecurity, and low self-esteem.

I was super excited for her because I have witnessed her dedication over the years for inspiring others to level up and go beyond the things that they imagined they were limited by.

When Latoya invited me to speak on her panel discussion about creativity I felt honored & excited.

Most people think you have to be good at art to be creative, but that is just not true.

Creativity is found in finance, in engineering, in science, in raising children, within how we go about loving one another.

But to be creative in our lives & relationships, we first must release our insecurities. Sports, poetry, photography, painting, music, dance, theatre - all of these things are simply creative play.

When we were children, we went into our imaginations and played. During Latoya’s book launch she gave us the opportunity to revive our creativity & it felt so freeing.

Thank you Latoya for inviting me to participate in your celebration for Rising Above It All. I’m soooo proud of you! 😘

Your favorite breakthrough coach, speaker & author,
Beth 🤍

What if the best training session you ever ran had zero PowerPoints, zero worksheets, and zero lectures?

Most workshops feel like a chore. People show up, sit through it, and forget everything by Monday. You can feel the energy drain out of the room the second someone opens a slide deck.

Toya & Doug did it differently. Started with journaling about old pastimes. Things people actually remembered and cared about.

Then we paired people up and had them act out scenes together. No script. No safety net. Just two people figuring it out in real time.

After that, we split into two groups and each group wrote a short story from a single sentence each.

Then we closed with a panel where people shared about their sources of creativity.

Here's the thing though. You can run a session like this once and people will love it. But one great session does not build a culture. The real question is what happens the week after. And the month after. Most gurus have no answer for that.

Reply with the word MOMENTUM and I’ll send you the exact framework we use to keep momentum going between sessions.

Huge shoutouts to Toya & Doug for putting together an incredible event to launch Toya’s 2nd Edition, Rising Above It.

Go grab your copy now!

Sometimes showing up for one another means more than we realize. ❤️

About three years ago, I met Latoya at an event where I had been invited to speak. What started as a simple conversation turned into a connection that has continued through different seasons of our journeys.

Over the years, we've attended each other's events, collaborated, exchanged perspectives, and supported one another in different ways. We haven't always seen everything the same way, nor have we been present for every occasion. But one thing I've come to appreciate is the importance of recognizing the people who continue to show up.

Today, I had the opportunity to celebrate Latoya as she launched the second edition of her book, Rising Above It. Hearing her share her journey and the experiences behind her writing was a reminder that we're all growing, learning, and navigating chapters that others may never fully understand.

Sometimes we meet people in different seasons of their lives, and the version we experience isn't always the version someone else encounters. But there's something powerful about giving one another room to grow while appreciating the good we've experienced along the way.

Congratulations, Latoya! I'm grateful I got to witness another chapter of your journey and celebrate this milestone with you.

To everyone, especially the women who may need the encouragement to recognize their worth and rise above the challenges they've faced, be sure to grab a copy of Rising Above It and leave her a 5 star review ❤️

Most business owners think they unplugged last weekend. They didn’t.

Usually spend the weekend "resting" but Monday morning still feels like you got hit by a truck.

Scrolling, half-working, half-relaxing. Never actually switching off. So you start the week already behind.

I try to do things that fully occupy my attention.

Last weekend I was at birthday parties, trying new restaurants, and competing in a stein holding competition.

Pick activities that demand your presence. Schedule them like appointments. Leave the phone in your pocket, not in your hand.

Here's the thing though. Not every kind of busy weekend recharges you. Pack it wrong and you'll feel more drained than if you'd just stayed home.

Knowing the difference between recharging activities and draining ones is its own skill.

Comment your favorite emoji if you actually felt charged going into this week.

Yesterday was a great reminder that sometimes the biggest difference in a conversation isn’t having the right answer.

It’s having the courage to ask the right question.

I had the opportunity to attend Master the Ask in Stamford, an immersive workshop led by André Carvalho and Giovanny Ramirez focused on becoming better at the conversations that matter such as in sales, negotiations, business, and even our personal relationships.

One of the biggest themes of the day:

Stop feeling like you need to explain everything. Ask better questions. Listen. Get comfortable with the silence.

We worked through live exercises around leading with questions, transferring pressure in conversations, reading between the lines, handling objections, and learning not to treat the first “no” as the end of the conversation.

And I think that last part extends way beyond sales.

How often do we avoid asking for what we actually want because we’re afraid of hearing no?

The opportunity.
The introduction.
The sale.
The partnership.
The help.
The honest conversation.

Sometimes the only thing separating us from the outcome we want is being willing to make the ask.

Great workshop. Great people. And plenty to take back into both business and life.

Thanks to André, Gio, and everyone who made Master the Ask such a valuable experience.

Here’s a little recap from the day 👇

This is more than a conversation.

On September 24, we’re creating an evening designed to give you space to reflect, connect, and think differently about what comes next.

We’ll begin with values-based networking that moves beyond the usual “What do you do?” and invites more meaningful connection.

Then, we’ll come together for an inspiring conversation with Suzy Welch about purpose, values, and the decisions that shape our work and our lives — followed by an audience Q&A.
