🫶🏼LET’S BREAK EACH OTHER’S HEARTS by @dabneymorris Link to full video in bio I don’t think heartbreak is ever about that one heartbreak. It’s about all of them. Don’t give anyone that much credit. Can I say something insane? I think the second we slip out of the womb, we spend the rest of our lives trying to crawl back in. And I actually think heartbreak has a lot more to do with that than anything else. So here’s to loving someone for the time you’re given, here’s to loving someone flawed but as best we can, and here’s to letting go with gratitude when the song’s over. -Jenna ❤️‍🔥❤️💔❤️‍🩹🩵 Created & Directed by Jenna Dorian Produced by Krystina Christiansen @kryschristiansen Director of Photography: Seth Dunlap @sethdunlap Gaffer: Josiah David @josiah.dop Starring: Stevie Kincheloe @steviekincheloe & Dabney Morris With (in order of appearance): Hannah Martin @ehannaheh Kaleb Brand @kalebisbranded Sarah Lin Mitchell @smitch_ Victoria Ratermanis @tozr #newmusic #musicvideo #losangeles #filmmaker #dabneymorrismusic

I’ve learned so much about filmmaking and festivals from TEN YEARS of running @salute_shorts. I’m the luckiest person in the world to have @elleshaw7 elevating the event year after year and @laurenJ53 organizing our programming and overseeing all of our screeners. This is both an appreciation post, but also some tips and insights that have developed over my time serving as Artistic Director so far. I was so incredibly fortunate to be in the amazing short film NOT JOHN, written and directed by @teresadecher. When she told me who was going to be in it with me, I almost keeled over with joy. Really grateful to the whole cast and crew for the fun nights! I think we made something pretty freakin' cool. NOT JOHN premieres at the @nfmla in Los Angeles on October 17th at 3pm in program #1. Hope to see you there!
