🌫️ IMPORTANT UPDATE: MOTIV: HADIR

It is with regret that we announce the cancellation of all four performances of MOTIV: Hadir, originally scheduled for 23 & 24 October 2026, due to the ongoing haze situation and precautionary measures implemented across Temasek Polytechnic.

💛 Our students have poured so much time, energy and heart into this production, and we share their disappointment that we are unable to present their work as planned.

The health and well-being of our performers, crew and audiences remain our priority.

🎟️ TICKET REFUNDS
All purchased tickets will be fully refunded through Peatix. Refunds will be processed automatically and may take 5–30 business days to be reflected, depending on your card provider.

✨ This is not the end of MOTIV: Hadir. We hope to bring this production to you at a later date, when conditions improve.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support of our student artists. We look forward to welcoming you back. ❤️

You’ve walked these paths before.

But have you ever seen them move?

In MOTIV, the stage leaves the theatre and enters the campus.

A staircase might become a stage.
A pathway might become a journey.
A familiar corner might suddenly hold a completely different meaning.

Created and performed by TP Dance Ensemble, MOTIV is a site-responsive performance shaped by movement, sound, architecture and human connection. Instead of performing in a fixed space, the dancers respond to the environments around them — from walls and textures to distances, pathways and the everyday movement of people.

Working with choreographer and multidisciplinary movement practitioner Ahmad Kamil, the dancers explore how the spaces we occupy can shape the way we move, connect, remember and experience the world around us.

There is no conventional divide between stage and audience. Walk with the performance. Look at familiar spaces differently. Discover something you might normally overlook.

📅 23 & 24 October 2026
🕖 7:00PM & 8:45PM
📍 Gathering Point to be advised
🎟️ Get your tickets via the link in our bio!

Come prepared to look again at somewhere you thought you already knew.

Huge congratulations to Temasek Polytechnic Dance Ensemble (TPDE) @tpdeofficial for clinching second runner-up 🥉 in the Tertiary Category at Super 24 2026! 👏

This marks TPDE’s third consecutive podium finish at the prestigious dance competition, following their third-place achievements in 2024 and 2025 🔥

Featuring the world’s first four-sided performance format, Super 24 challenges teams of 24 dancers to deliver a 90-second routine within a strict 8m by 8m square 💃 This year’s competition brought together teams from Singapore and across the region, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Australia and China 🌏

Competing against some of the strongest teams in the tertiary dance scene, TPDE delivered a show-stopping performance filled with passion, energy and their signature stage presence 💯 Their journey to the podium was fuelled by months of intensive training, which began as early as May.

Behind every unforgettable performance is a strong community of support 💪 This year’s piece was choreographed and led by TPDE alumnus Jack Lim @redbeanjack, who worked tirelessly with the dancers to explore a fresh creative direction. The experience also gave Jack the opportunity to grow professionally while giving back to TP and nurturing the next generation of dancers!

Here’s to the choreographers, trainers, supporters and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this achievement possible 🫶 Keep flying the TP flag high and reaching for the stars, TPDE!
