We had the most beautiful Sunday night with family & friends. San & Davis hosted us at their home for Hibachi Night and it was perfection. Davis did not leave a single detail out and the food was amazing. ❤️

I had the sweetest girls standing by my side! I’m beyond blessed to have friends like these, and so thankful they were there with me on one of the most special days of my life. I truly couldn’t have asked for better bridesmaids! I love you girls so much!! 🫶

And to Teresa, Davis, and Sarah- thank you for making me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. You each played such a special part in making sure everyone felt their very best, and I’m so grateful for all of your love, care, and hard work 🤍

Sometimes life really is about being in the right place at the right time.

A few years ago Adelyn and Logan were all dressed up for prom and taking photos. I happened to be nearby with my camera and stepped in to help capture a few moments for them so they’d have those memories from the night.

Fast forward a few years and they found me again at a bridal show. Later they reached out and reminded me how we first met, and suddenly it all came rushing back.

And now here we are… their wedding day. Such a beautiful day filled with so much love, and I feel so lucky that a small moment years ago turned into getting to be part of something this meaningful for them. Some stories really do come full circle. 🤍

On this day of love, I’m reflecting on Sanford telling me he was going to propose to Davis in the garden where Matt and I were married 28 years ago. I think I cried for two days 😭. He had waited so patiently for her to chase her big dreams, and it was finally time for their future to truly start!!
He had a vision for everything. Cole and Michelle set into motion to create it. He wanted it to be ‘very organic, not over the top.’ THEN, God decided to add his special touch & blanket it with a gorgeous snowfall!! It was all more than we could have imagined. I’ve seen my baby girl happy many times in her life, but nothing compared to the joy of this day! Thank you to those who came to help celebrate them, it meant so much! I have no clue how a wedding will even top this engagement, but we will certainly give it a try! 😉❄️🩵

As parents, we pray our children will seek God’s face in all things—and that they will find the love of their life along the way. Seeing the pure joy and happiness on Sanford & Davis’ faces this past Sunday is one of the greatest gift of all.

Matt, Melanie, David, and I have truly enjoyed the journey of raising these two together since they were just 12 & 13 years old. As the pictures show, we all shared in the joy and celebration of this beautiful moment.

One week ago tonight, my lifelong dream became a reality when I was crowned Miss South Carolina. 🤍

This week has been an absolute WHIRLWIND — they definitely weren’t lying when they said this role was a demanding one. 😮‍💨 But I’m determined to seize every opportunity that presents itself this year.

I am truly honored and humbled to represent the state I love so much. SC, I hope I make you proud!!!
