Good craic bumping into Andrew Hendy at the oasis gig Sunday night. While I’m embarrassed to admit it I only knew him from TPM and wasn’t familiar with The Mary Wallopers but I am now. Loving listening to their stuff and can’t wait to see them live, hopefully in Croke Park some day!! Some energy.

The two brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy who are now known for being members of the Mary Wallopers which is a modern Irish trad band used to be making rap music!

The song in this post is called “all the boys on the dole” and was released in 2015! The strong Dundalk accent is interesting and it grows on you I believe! TPM stands for tax payers money and all the songs are great they give out about the Irish government talking about issues that are still around today 10 years later.

They have 5 singles up on Spotify definitely worth a listen! Although they are just ment to be fun songs about serious issues there is something about them! It’s a nice time capsule as well!

This Halloween, @henrykuhnthings and were one of many dressed as Irish political comedy rap duo @tpmlaws. Henry came with great @andjobannjo costume while I put on my best @charles.hendy from hit music video “Boys on the Dole”

Kept getting swarmed on the street by people who thought we were the real deal cause our costumes were so accurate. Waiting to hear back from @tpmlaws about playing them in their biopic.
