The fact that I will never step on the Clyde field in my jersey is a thought I cannot comprehend. I’m not an emotional person, but to say I get teary eyes when I think that I will never play with my best friends, nor play for the biggest mentors of my life (shoutout mama ship, coach chad, and googie) is a huge understatement. Softball, thank you for the best 11 years of my life. Thank you for the tears and laughter. For the crash outs and the breakdowns, but also all the memories I will never trade for anything. Coaches, thank you for leading me in a way that not only impacted my skill, but also my mental and spiritual life. To my teammates I thank yall for putting a smile on my face after a long day or long weekend. And for making my softball career better than anything. Thank you to my parents and family for always supporting me and making me better everyday. And most of all I thank the Lord for giving me the gift and ability to play the sport that I love and impact people to further his kingdom. I will cherish every memory.
