POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I was absolutely tickled to hear that ALL ABOUT EVIL was one of the surprise films featured at Denver’s DISMEMBER THE ALAMO, the annual mystery horror marathon at Alamo Drafthouse! The fabulous Trace Thurman of the Horror Queers Podcast programmed the event and was kind enough to send me this video of the audience reaction, which absolutely made my day. There’s something so incredibly special about knowing that our twisted little movie is still finding audiences, especially when they have no idea what they’re about to see! Hearing this crowd react all these years later makes my dark little heart so happy. And now I’m even MORE excited to bring ALL ABOUT EVIL back to the big screen in Los Angeles next week as part of the Black Cat Cinema @blackcatcinemaseries series. I can’t wait!

Come do the #timewarp with us as @tracedthurman and @bstolemyremote celebrate 400 episodes with #therockyhorrorpictureshow (1975).

Created by Richard O’Brien and Jim Sharman, we track the film’s origin from successful stage musical to box office failure to midnight cult phenomenon.

Plus: all things #timcurry; shadow casts; our favorite musical numbers; contemporary complaints of misogyny and ableism; and celebrating unapologetic queer sexuality.

Today on Patreon: Be prepared to get “digested” in the Red Room because we’re talking the finale of #MikeFlanagan’s #thehauntingofhillhouse (2018): “Silence Lay Steadily”.

Join us as we discuss the somewhat divisive reception that this finale got when it initially aired. Is it too saccharine and drawn out? We have thoughts!

Plus: #samanthasloyan’s shitty monologue (iykyk), time shenanigans, and our constant refrain of wondering if Hill House really is evil....or just lonely.

Today on Patreon: Stock up on your Little Latte order because we are headed to Pine Grove to lure #SidneyPrescott...er...Evans out of retirement with #KevinWilliamson’s #Scream7.

Is this the weakest entry in the franchise? The critic scores say yes, but the opening weekend Box Office says no.

We’re...somewhere in the middle: we love that first act, but the screenplay’s lack of commentary on the genre and the predictable killer(s) reveal are shit.

Plus: a full timeline of the complicated production; wanting more Gale & the Meeks-Martin twins; a rant about questionable marketing ties; and where Scream 8 should go.

Grab your ladder because we’re headed to NY to ride the subway with the Core Four in #RadioSilence’s sequel to the requel, #Scream6 (2023).

Obviously this is a megasized episode because we have *thoughts.* Thoughts on the killers, thoughts on who survives, thoughts on the best chase sequences and how much (or little) each character gets to do.

Plus: an absent Sidney, the return of #SkeetUlrich, the Stab shrine, and all of those homages to #Scream2. Who gives a fuck about movies?!
