Enjoying magical forest memories at the end of a long, productive day. 🌲❤️ New Year’s Eve hike with my dear friend @traceysmith444 😇

My heart has felt a bit heavy these past few days after a somewhat rough first day of 2024. Returning to these memories and remembering all the love in my life always helps me feel lighter. Especially in the past few months, I’ve been so grateful for all the love and support that has come to me in many forms.

In spite of the slightly rocky start, I’m also celebrating a fun, productive and creative week. It seems like a lot has cleared in the last few days, and for the first time in what feels like more than a year, I’m 100% lit up and excited about what’s coming to life in my business. Working on a massive website makeover right now and loving all the fresh energy and forward momentum. I can’t wait to share more soon. Stay tuned! ❤️

This has been the most colourful year of my life. The BEST year to date, and simultaneously one of the hardest.

Travel alone. Walk through adversity. Go within. Dig deeper. Face fears. Try new things. Feel exposed. Be vulnerable. It’s okay to be different. Risk your heart. Set boundaries. You don’t need to do it all. Also don’t need to have it all. Not everything you want is meant for you. It’s okay to walk away. Forgive yourself. Self compassion. Eat that pizza. Take the leap. Trust your intuition. Trust that you’re supported. Trust in the unknown. Get out of your own way. Risk it to get the biscuit. Keep good company 🤍

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mr.Chow. He suffered a seizure on Wednesday and got progressively worse and on advice from 2 vets we helped him be free from pain. You touched so many hearts and will be sadly missed. #farmsanctuary #farmsanctuarylife #veganfortheanimals #rainbowbridge

Our memorial wall

For those of you who have visited our farm, I’m sure you’re familiar with this wall. However, for those who haven’t this is our memorial wall dedicated to the animals who are no longer with us… One of the founders, Diane, hand paints each animal herself after they pass so that their memory can live on at the farm ❤️

We recently lost our beloved Gibbles who will be added to the memorial as soon as the weather improves. Till then we have temporarily added him to the this picture (bottom left corner) 🫶🏼

If you are wanting to help our other animals on our farm, check the link in our bio or email animals@happyherd.org
