I went to Venice Beach to see what’s coming out of L.A.’s storm drains and ending up in our ocean… and I found THIS! 💔

The water was BLACK, and the smell was TERRIBLE! 😷🚯 When trash fills our streets and storm drains, it can end up in our ocean. Our beaches and marine life deserve better! 🐠🐬🌎

🚨 L.A., WE NEED TO DO BETTER! 🙏 Help us spread awareness and keep our city clean. Share this post, and let’s protect our planet together!

Is there a difference between the Democrats and DSA, or Democratic Socialists of America? Yes,
and often people think they are of the same party. And they are not.

During my recent interview with @CouncilwomanTraciPark, who represents CD11, she explained it clearly in this clip.

Throughout our interview, we spoke a lot about what's gone wrong with this great city and the type of leadership to bring it back, all of it, from safety to job growth and homelessness. It's a tall order because LA has slipped, but it's also a great and important city with dedicated people, so it will be back. And there's already signs.

@TraciParkForLA has been widely popular in her district, working tirelessly on a variety of issues and performing for the constituents in her district. She says homelessness is down, crime is getting under control, and there's a revitalization happening. But more needs to be done, and she's ready for the task, having been re-elected to represent the people of the Westside.

We also asked Traci who she believes is the best choice for @MayorOfLA - @KarenBassLA or @NithyaForTheCity. She didn't hold back.

Please find my full interview with Councilwoman #TraciPark on all video and audio platforms of @DeborahKobyltLIVE. I'm your host, @DeborahZaraKobylt, and it's my pleasure to welcome you here.

A lot of gratitude headed into the final week before Election Day - we are so thankful to everyone who came out to hear Councilwoman Traci Park in conversation with future LA City Attorney John McKinney. We appreciate Traci and John highlighting how important this race is to the future of our city. Equal thanks to our friends @gerberkawasaki, @thrive.la, and Vibrant LA for partnering with us to make this gathering possible. Vote on or before November 3rd! #vote #elections #losangeles #santamonica

Every day, LAFD firefighters and paramedics run towards danger, not away from it.

Right now, response times are nearly double the national standard.

Measure FD gets them the staff, stations, and equipment to reach every call fast. Now is the time to show up for them. Vote YES on FD.

These candidates are all saying the right thing but I’m telling you as a homeowner, very little is happening in terms of building around my former house. I lived on Porto Marina Way, most of our street and the hill has burned down. I’ve been paying a mortgage (and property tax 🤣) since January 2025, our neighbors and I are desperate for the city to approve our building permit submission and it’s been months. My building team just submitted over 3000 page soil report —my ask is to rebuild the house that burned because of gross negligence. The city keeps telling me they’ll get back to me — and to stop calling. It’s been months… meanwhile they definitely want the property tax paid, and I know Karen Bass was out when the city was burning to the ground but where is she now? Campaigning…. There’s a whole group of us on Porto Marina Way that would really appreciate if your planners could take a look at our request to rebuild our homes that burned down. As an entrepreneur that has worked hard to be a strong advocate for doing hard things, we need those who are representing in the City Planning office to have the same sense of urgency that we have in building a business to rebuild our city.

If you are trying to figure out who to vote for, definitely tune in and listen to Traci Park. She’s the only voice of reason I have heard from LA City Council. With Spencer and Rick out of the race, we have to do our best to navigate. Believe it or not I voted for Karen Bass for reelection because I couldn’t stand the idea of having a DSA socialist at the helm of this amazing city but damn you can do a big move by getting in front of the governors race #votestevehilton

Familiar faces, warm hugs, and so many wonderful moments at today’s Taste of Soul. It’s always a joy to celebrate the culture that shaped me and the community that raised me. Feeling that love inspires my fight for Los Angeles every single day.

🎪🤡 THE CLOWNCIL CHRONICLES: HAVE ZOOM, WILL TRAVEL! 🤡🎪

GARY PEARL, WHERE ARE YOU?! 📱👀

Last night, VP Gary Pearl attended VNC’s Ad Com meeting via Zoom. Camera OFF, background noise ON, attention elsewhere, but still voting!

THE GOSSIP CLOWN HAS RECEIPTS! ☕️

A verified attendee placed Gary at a Traci Park @traciparkforla election event in MAR VISTA during the meeting!

Multitasking! Mingling! Municipal governance! 😂

Curiously, Ringmaster David Feige operated Zoom instead of Gary, who normally handles the controls. Coincidence? Convenient planning? 🤔

🎪 MEANWHILE, UNDER THE BIG TOP…

David’s handpicked Ad Com debuted without Lisa Redmond and Sarah Mahir. Meeting duration? About ONE HOUR!

A MIRACLE! HOW?!

🤡 Tiny Board agenda.

🤡 No Gary wrestling with Zoom controls. YouTube tutorials, Gary. They’re FREE!

🤡 No Gary monologues or snide remarks. Just YES votes!

🤡 No Yolanda interrupting while hunting for Zoom’s elusive raise-hand button!

KENYA LEE? Absent from her FIRST meeting! No explanation. Did someone forget to tell her she’s on the committee? 😂

TED & JIM? The YES Department! No discussion, plenty of agreement. Such efficiency!

Meanwhile, Lisa Redmond, participating from the audience, and Treasurer Helen Fallon raised actual agenda and procedural concerns. Apparently, reading the agenda helps! 👀

🚨 BUT WAIT! QUORUM TROUBLE?

Ad Com needs FOUR for quorum. Six attended.

But under SB 707’s neighborhood council provisions, the remote-participation quorum must be within VNC limits.

Gary? At an event in Mar Vista, OUTSIDE VNC boundaries.

David? Mystery location. Ted? Broadcasting from the shadows. Helen, Jim and Tima? Familiar surroundings.

Yet boardwalk gossip says Tima lives on a boat! if so, not in Venice. We have QUESTIONS! 🚤

AND GARY’S CAMERA? 📵

Which teleconferencing rules applied? Was his camera-off participation permitted? Were ALL requirements met?

🎪 A speedy meeting is lovely. But efficiency doesn’t replace transparency!

Venice stakeholders deserve answers, not another episode of “Quorum: The Guessing Game.”

☕️ GOSSIP CLOWN DMs OPEN!

🤡 THE CLOWNCIL: WHERE THE CIRCUS NEVER ENDS, EVEN WHEN THE MEETING DOES! 🎪
