What’s up, Fathomiers! 🤙🤙🤙

Kevin here from Redondo Dive and Tackle with some seriously good news for the local dive and spearfishing community.

Our buddy Kai over in Hawaii just hooked us up with a special donation for the 60th Annual Charlie Sturgill Tournament happening right here in the South Bay / Palos Verdes. He hand-makes these custom three-prong polespears one by one, and they’re absolute works of art.
We’re talking full carbon fiber shafts, beautifully paracord-wrapped, and they break down impeccably for easy travel and storage. The back end is built around a solid 9mm shell, everything is custom, and each one is finished and ready to slay.

The winner of this year’s tournament gets to choose their favorite color — purple, pink, or green. Just so you know, these aren’t something we normally sell in the shop. They’re special pieces that Kai only builds in limited numbers, so this is a rare chance to take one home.
This one hits close to home for me. I was a member of the Fathomiers back in 2007, and competing in the Sturgill was always one of my favorite tournaments of the year. There’s just something special about this event — the camaraderie, the competition, and the history of the Sturgil Family. Seeing it reach its 60th year and being able to help put up a prize like these custom poles from Kai feels full circle.

If you’re competing this year, or thinking about jumping in for the 60th running of the Sturgill, these poles are waiting. Come by the shop anytime to check them out in person, talk story, and get dialed in for the tournament.

See you out on the water, and good luck to everyone competing. Let’s make the 60th one to remember! 🤙 🤙🤙
