Loved interviewing @therealjohncreilly on @americanafest red carpet about @john_prine, becoming Mister Romantic and releasing his debut album at 60, John’s hometown pride for Chicago, and more for my NPR & PBS station! 📻📺 You can read our interview at the 🔗 in my bio. 🤳

John hosts the John Prine 80th birthday concert at @chicagotheatre TONIGHT! 🎭 The show is sold out, but John’s family’s foundation @sayhellointhere is hosting events throughout Chicago through Sunday! 👋❤️ And @ohboyrecords’ new John Prine album ‘Found Dogs’ comes out Friday! 🎶

John C. Reilly tour dates as @johncreillyismrromantic on Slide 6! 👨‍🎤

Last 2 slides is the powerful group of talents I got to hang with backstage at the Northern Lights tribute to John — including host @tracygershon and @fprine herself! 💚

It was such a joy to sing “Bless it All” at Americanafest last week to celebrate 80 years of John Prine. ❤️ And what an honor to share the stage with @oliviawolfmusic and @sean_mcconnell 💫 The word “influence” isn’t strong enough to describe the effect of John’s work on us all— it’s more like his songs get in your bloodstream and every song you write after that has a little John Prine DNA in it. It was incredibly special to be invited to honor him. Thank you, @tracygershon for organizing this lovely event!

I almost can’t believe I survived the last few days but if there was anyone I could do it with it would be this group of people. The day after Red Rocks I took the earliest flight back to Nashville so I could panic shop for @sistastrings Americana looks and then drive to Jackson to see my loctitian. Next day I had a hair appointment, drove back to Nashville, packed and rehearsed and then woke up the next day to play @tracygershon and @ohboyrecords John Prine tribute. Immediately left there to go to @theryman for soundcheck with @brandicarlile for Returning to Myself which later that night won SONG of the Year!!!! I got to see one of my very best friends and one of my favorite people on this planet @mandyferguitar win Instrumentalist of the year!!! From there I put on some comfy clothes and made it to Vancouver just in time to get back on The Human Tour. If you see me wandering around, I probably need some water and probably can’t speak coherently but know I’m exactly where I wanna be!

I’ll never get over how familiar I am with a place that was once a distant dream.

Friday afternoon @moniqueladora and I were on our way back to the hotel from a delicious coffee and eventful walk when our phones dinged with a text from @brandicarlile It was the set list for that night and very first on the list was our Sista Jam 🤯 Im so grateful for a bandleader who shines her light on all of the artists around her and a bandmate/sister who is always ready for a challenge. You don’t gotta get ready if you stay ready!

My brother came Friday and Saturday and got to see what a day at work is like for me and Mo

Im plotting on getting my brother back writing music so@we can take this sibling music thing even further

Me & @_graceh matching in our @xobccellars merch and a Monique

I will never get over how they built the stage and rooms straight into the rocks like this. 🤯

One of a couple pranks played on me this weekend

Me and my IV treatment at rehearsal with Brandi and Alanis. Just another day at Red Rocks!

Still attached to my IV

Rocking with my homegirls

Brandi in my sunglasses that she gifted me 😂

Final vocal cool down with the one who made singing 3 days at Red Rocks an absolute breeze! Love you @robertraab

Right before my life flashed before my eyes

Immediately no 🦇

Monique and I were already in agony before I was nearly brought to my knees in fright because of how large this moth was.

SistaSings

The bug again because ew

Just two drama queens being dramatic at each other 😂
