My sisters first big hill since getting back into cycling. She had three more to go after this, which she completed with no assistance and didn’t stop! The #falconbike from #facebookmarketplace for £5, is running great! It was an easy build that one! Not that bike mechanics is hard, just some bikes😩#cornwall #tehidywoods #tehidycountrypark #tehidywoodscornwall #falconbicycle #cycling #cyclingengland #cyclingcornwall #cyclingwithfriends

Collected this Worksop built#1979 #raleighrecord from a place called Constantine in #cornwall. It was in an allotment shed along with a very nice Dawes 531 framed bike. Since bought that and I will collect that tomorrow. I spent a few hrs on the bike and now it’s road ready, not restored. I think it’s not been rode for many years and is totally original, even the tyres and brake blocks. Took it up the road and it rides lovely, I just had to replace all the inner cables, oil and clean! Tomorrow my sister and I will be riding out on this and her bike I built for her. Both bikes and on the road, £100 max! Both bikes and parts bought from Facebook and #Ebay. #raleighbikes #raleighrandonneur #raleighbicycles #raleighbike #raleighbicycle #raleighworksop #raleighnottingham #vintage #vintagerides #vintageraleighbike #vintageraleigh #vintageraleighbicycle #facebook #facebookmarketplace #ebay #shedfind

Quick mock up for the Falcon, I bought some Shorty mudguards, I think they look good on the bike. Cleaned up the BB bearings and cups. The head bearings and cups cleaned, cups ready for some paint. Liking the carbon bars, trying to reduce weight as much as possible, carbon seat post on order. #falconbikes #bikerepair #bicycle #bicycles #mybicycle #cycling #cyclinglifestyle #cyclingphotos #cyclingpics #bicyclemechanic

Nice when on a week off to sit down with a cup of tea and do something you enjoy! Just upgrading the Falcon, going to build a versatile bike for the Cornish terrain. Something for Town, Light off Road and Road riding. #falconbicycle #allterrainbike #bicycles #bicyclebuilding #bicyclerestoration #bicyclerepair #cheap #cheapaschips
