Out now: Suffering Quota - Sisyphean Life

SUFFERING QUOTA is the weight of never-ending days translated into sound; striving for small glimpses of freedom within perpetual cycles. Their music is built on tension, with every riff like a weight dragged uphill, and every blast-scarred song collapsing only to reset the moment it ends. The band presses forward through volume and force, testing limits, returning again and again to the same pressure points. Across their fifteen years of continuous wandering, with live performances reducing stages to dust and rubble throughout Europe and the UK. Clarity dissolves in sustained noise.

Now, SUFFERING QUOTA returns with their fourth full-length record, Sisyphean Life. Sonically, the album pursues density and repetition, allowing volume and heaviness to drain the air from the room. Conceptually inspired by the myth of Sisyphus, Sisyphean Life draws on the idea of eternal return, panelling the endless push uphill with the recurring descent into depression and boredom of modern daily life. You can strain as long as you want, chase fleeting moments of bliss forevermore, but bleakness and desolation always linger in the background. These are the moments of recognition: there is no triumph here, no turning point towards relief. Just endless cycles and never ending days.

Sisyphean Life is collaborative effort between 7 Degrees Records and Tartarus Records
