The Secret Lives of Cookie Wives: Ballerina Farm Edition 🐄🍪🍿

We came for a peaceful little dairy farm tour… and somehow ended up filming an entire reality TV episode. 💀😂

A scheduling mix-up meant nobody was there when we arrived. After 30 minutes of trying to figure things out, the Utah weather decided to join the drama. Cue the crazy winds, rain, and a group of cookie decorators who clearly understood the assignment. 🌧️💨🤣

Thankfully, someone from Ballerina Farm came to save the day and gave us a great tour! But not before we turned all the unexpected chaos into reality TV GOLD. 🎬

The drama was real. The reactions were dramatic. The cows were innocent. 🐄💀

We may have come to Utah for a cookie retreat, but apparently we left with a pilot episode.

Hulu, we’re ready for our own series. 🍿😂

Some people go to cookie retreats to improve their decorating skills. We started a girl group. 💅🍪💃

Now presenting… the moment absolutely nobody asked for, but everyone deserves. 😂

🍪 THE DOUGH HOS 🍪

5 cookiers. 1 dance. An unreasonable amount of confidence.

And when the rain started pouring? We didn’t run for cover… we turned it into our own music video. 🌧️💃✨

Our official “Babydoll” debut has arrived. 🎬✨

Shoutout to our manager and director, @lumis_sweets! 🎥❤️

POV: The farm people are 30 minutes late, so naturally… we make a Reel. 💃🏼🐄😂

You can put 20 women on a baking retreat, but you cannot expect us to stand around and do nothing. 😂

When life gives you a 30-minute delay, you turn it into a dance party. Just another day with the @flourisheventsandretreats girlies! 🩵✨

🎬 From Footloose to FLOUR! 🌾👀

Did you know the iconic Lehi Mills was featured in the original Footloose movie starring Kevin Bacon?! 🕺

We had the opportunity to take an EXCLUSIVE behind-the-scenes tour of @lehimills during our @flourisheventsandretreats retreat, and it was seriously SO fascinating!

From seeing how wheat is transformed into flour to getting an inside look at the massive equipment and everything that goes into keeping this historic mill running, there was so much more to the process than we ever imagined! 🤯

And as a group of cookie decorators and bakers, getting to see where one of our most-used ingredients comes from made it even more special! 🍪❤️

Who else remembers the original Footloose?! 🎬👇

POV: You take 20 bakers to a flour mill and tell them to act normal. 😂🌾

Spoiler alert: We absolutely cannot.

When you’re planning a girls’ weekend for 20 women who love all things baking an exclusive tour of the famous Lehi Mills sounds like a great option!

We had the BEST time touring @lehimills, learning about the milling process, and getting a behind-the-scenes look at where some of our favorite baking ingredients come from!

And yes, this is THE mill where Footloose was filmed! 🎬💃🏼

There’s just something about bringing together women who share the same passions. What might sound like an ordinary flour mill tour to someone else is genuinely one of the highlights of our weekend!

Huge thank you to Lehi Mills for welcoming our Flourish girls and making this such a fun experience! 🩵

Tell me you’re a baker without telling me you’re a baker… Would you be excited about a flour mill tour?! 👇🏻

Every iconic dance group has an origin story… 💃🍪

Ours started with some secretly recorded rehearsal footage, a few questionable dance moves, and a growing number of recruits. 😂

From 3 to 5, the Dough Hos were born.

The official debut is coming soon. 👀🎬

DAY TWO of our 2026 @flourisheventsandretreats Heber Retreat, and the fun just keeps getting better! ✨

We kicked off the morning with homemade breakfast burritos and delicious muffins, thanks to our friends at @lehimills for sponsoring breakfast! 🩵

Then we loaded up 20 bakers and headed to the iconic Lehi Mills facility (yes, THE mill from Footloose 👀) to get a behind-the-scenes look at how their flour and baking mixes are made! We learned all about the milling process, sampled some of their delicious baking mixes, and every girl went home with raspberry pancake mix and a muffin mix of her choice! Talk about the best kind of field trip! 🙌🏼

Next stop: @shopbakingmecrazy for class with the incredibly talented Rebekah from @sugar_brink ! 🍪✨

We headed back to our retreat house for dinner, and tonight’s menu was BBQ chicken salad bowls sponsored by our friends at @beehivemeals ! 🥗🤍 Feeding 20 hungry women is no small task, and we’re so grateful for sponsors who help make it happen!

Then it was time for games, movies, and plenty of late-night laughs. Because apparently putting 20 bakers in one house means nobody wants to go to bed. 😂

One of our favorite things about Flourish is watching women who started out as strangers become the best of friends. It’s the classes, the conversations, the inside jokes, and the memories that make these weekends so special. 🩵

A HUGE thank you to Lehi Mills, Shop Baking Me Crazy, Sugar Brinks, and Beehive Meals for helping make day two so memorable!

Day two in the books, and we’re already wishing we could slow down time! 🥹

POV: You signed up for a baking retreat but accidentally joined a cult. 🚩😂

We promise @flourisheventsandretreats isn’t a cult… but we do have matching pajamas, organized group activities, mandatory enthusiasm, and apparently initiation ceremonies that involve doing the wave. 💀

You come for the baking classes, but you stay for the friendships, inside jokes, and questionable group activities. 🩵

Honestly, if this is a cult, it’s a pretty fun one. 😂

Who’s joining us next year?! 👀

A little farm time with my cookie people! 🤍 We toured Ballerina Farm today, and it was such a fun part of our retreat. Grateful for the chance to step away from our kitchens, spend time together, and make memories beyond cookies! 🐄🌾#BallerinaFarm #FarmTour #CookieRetreat #CookieDecorators #DrSusieSweets
