A massive shoutout to the BikePark Wales ambassadors for putting on such a fantastic event! 🙌 Brilliant day, great company and lots of fun!

Life has been good for late. Had a full reset after hitting total burn out and now we have the work/life balance back. Good friends, lots of riding and some exciting moves to share with everyone soon

SkillsLoop x @trailbloom 🙌

What a day with this awesome group of ladies!

We teamed up with @TrailBloom for a women’s-only MTB skills course, and this one was a little different to our usual courses.

We covered a bit of EVERYTHING, but really hit those foundation skills hard.

Body position, braking, flat cornering, berms, rock gardens and even some basic rolling drop technique!

But the biggest win? Understanding the WHY.

Good coaching isn’t just “do this, do that”. It’s helping each rider understand what’s happening, feel the difference and find what works for THEM.

We’re all different. We learn differently. We process things differently. And sometimes it just takes the right explanation or demonstration for everything to CLICK!

There were loads of great questions, plenty of laughs and some brilliant progression throughout the day.

And one message that kept coming back…

BODY POSITION. STAY BRAVE.

Can you hear my 3 year old cheering me on? There's no better feeling! This is what it's all about. Embracing new ways of life and adapting, and just simply doing our best. For ourselves and of course our children. I just want Beth to see me having fun, enjoying moments with her and Dad, and not worrying about how it looks or trying to be what I'm not anymore. I did love getting that wee bit of oomph under the tyres though, even with the extra bars and kids seat attached 😊!

Last weekend. Wow. I’m still absolutely beaming on the success of the Hope WMN enduro and to be apart of this event makes me so happy!

To see all the women and girls in the forest riding bikes and having fun was brilliant. And for a lot it was their first taste of racing!

It’s impressive to see what can happen if you create a space for it! Practice Saturday worked so well and for a lot of women the coaching was invaluable and definitely led to a successful day on the bike come race day Sunday! Well done to the coaches 🤘👊
