POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Six months. Six young creators. Six incredible stories.

We've just published our Fresh Cuts 2026 Finale Blog and while it's a longer read, it's one that's worth taking the time for.

From a journey across Scotland exploring Gaelic language and folklore, to mountain rescue volunteers, trail therapy practitioners, community trail projects and the life-changing impact of cycling, the six films created by this year's cohort are thoughtful, authentic and genuinely inspiring.

The blog takes you behind the scenes of the finale event and introduces each of the films, giving an insight into the stories, creativity and hard work that have gone into the programme over the last six months.

Fresh Cuts was designed to help develop the next generation of content creators, and the films produced by Andrew, Bryn, Finlay, Jamie, Monica and Somhairle are a testament to what can happen when talented young people are given the opportunity to learn, create and tell stories that matter.

Grab a coffee, settle in, and take a look at what this year's cohort has achieved.

Another great summer bike camp with these superstars. 3 days covering a great mix of trails and locations, lots of shredding, climbing, timed runs, and unusually this time, no accident forms needed!

Great 4 days running the Trailwild Summer camp this week. A good mix of “fun in the sun” and “resilience in the rain”. A pleasure to ride with CoCoPops, Dr Drift, Orangutan, OTB Oscar, Findicate, Send-it Scott, GC (Grand Canyon) and Ru-pig and special thanks to Deadly Daniel for being my right and left hand man.

Trailwild Summer Camps are go! Had a great time this week leading these lads round some of the best riding in the Edinburgh area, exploring some classic trails and a few hidden gems. Sunshine helps to make it that extra bit special as well.

What a NIGHT!

Rounding off a jam packed Conference week, Friday's Scottish Mountain Bike Awards were a much anticipated and pretty special evening where the very best of the Scottish mountain bike community, came together in mutual appreciation and celebration.

The food was amazing, the drinks were flowing, outstanding chat and capers from from Will, Graeme, and mighty fine tunes from local DJ and expert barista Craig Anderson of @no1_peebles_road

We'd like to thank @petescullion for the images and the bantz, Craig McArthur, @tornadodesignscot , for once again designing the physical awards, the judging panels, everyone who sent in a nomination and a huge thanks to everyone who came along on the night and made it so special!

These awards celebrate everything that makes Scottish mountain biking so special and this year was no different - find your 2024 winners through link in bio!

Excellent session tonight, today we worked on our braking zones on one of our local trail. Everyone rode really well and great development all round. Very nice night as well!

I don't only do weddings. I like to get out and about as well. These are a couple of pics from a recent shoot for the Trail Wild mountain bike team taking part in the Tweedlove Enjoyro at Glentress, Peebles. Check them out: www.trailwild.co.uk

I do like a fun environmental portrait shoot.

One of the contenders for Scottish MTB Photo of the Year from @grizzly_munro_diaries. It’s a beaut huh? We’ll be sharing the others over the next few days. Voting for this category will take place over the course of the Scottish MTB Conference and evening events by attendees.

Good luck to all the shortlisted. We’ll be sharing more details about them all over the next 2 weeks! 👊😊😍 Full list - link in bio.
