POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Over the last few years, we’ve worked with and talked to a lot of surfers, and we hear a lot of the same things.

Backs and shoulders bothering them. Getting tired quicker in the water. Pop-ups getting slower. Losing mobility. Or just not being sure what they should be doing outside the water to help their surfing.

So we decided to put together something that could help.

We created a free SurfHealth community on Skool where we’re sharing some mobility exercises, training advice, and some of the things we’ve learned from working with surfers over the years.

We’ve also put together some of our favorite exercises for back and hip mobility and shoulder health, so there’s already plenty of stuff in there you can start using.

The goal is to give surfers a better understanding of how to take care of their bodies, improve their fitness, and keep surfing well as they get older.

It’s completely free.

Comment “mobility” and we’ll send you the link to join.

If you’re going to take a week away to surf, why not use that time to actually improve?

That’s really what we’re trying to do with our November retreat in Nicaragua.

You’ll spend plenty of time in the water, but you’ll also get individual coaching from Sam Hammer, video review, and feedback on what you can work on to improve your surfing.

We’ll also spend time on mobility, movement, and some of the physical limitations that might be holding you back.

And with only 6 surfers and 2 coaches, there’s plenty of opportunity for individual attention throughout the week.

We’re staying at an awesome property right at Playa Yankee, with private rooms, great food, and access to some incredible waves.

We still have a few spots available.

Comment RETREAT and we’ll send you the full details.

Over the last few years we’ve had the chance to work with and talk to a lot of surfers.

We have noticed that we hear a lot of the same things.

Shoulders and backs bothering them. Getting tired quicker. Pop-ups getting slower. Feeling stiffer. Or just not really knowing what they should be doing ito manage recovery and injury.

So I wanted to put something together that could give people a starting point with some of these issues.

We created a free SurfHealth community where we’re sharing information, mobility work, training advice, and some of the things we’ve learned from working with surfers over the years.

I’ve also put together some of our “greatest hits” for back and hip mobility and shoulder health, so there’s plenty in there you can start using right away.

It’s completely free.

Comment “SKOOL” and we’ll send you the link to join.

You can go on a surf trip and surf a bunch for a week.

Or you can spend a week actually working on your surfing. That’s the difference with this retreat.

Sam will be in the water with you every day, watching you surf, helping you make adjustments, and then breaking down video so you can actually see what he’s talking about.

Jacob will be working with you on the physical side—movement, mobility, recovery and anything that might be limiting you in the water.

And because we’re only taking 6 surfers, you’re going to get a lot of individual attention throughout the week.

The idea is to leave Nicaragua surfing better, understanding your surfing better, and knowing what you need to keep working on when you get home.

We only have 3 spots left.

Comment RETREAT and we’ll send you the details.
