Your clients may walk in with their guard up. Your job is to make them feel understood, not intimidated. Ask questions, build trust, and change how they see working with a coach. That’s how you turn hesitation into a yes.

Asking for feedback after every session does more than make you a better trainer.

It shows your clients you actually care — and that you’re not just there to collect a paycheck.

Listen. Learn. Improve. That’s how you build trust.

If training people feels like just another 9–5, it might be time to ask yourself why you’re doing it.

Your clients can tell when you care.

You don’t need fancy sales tactics to win people over.

Build a genuine connection. Listen. Be interested.

People don’t want to be sold. They want to feel understood.

@nemc_fitness gets it!

1. Follow the 80/20 Rule
Eat whole, nutrient-dense foods 80% of the time and enjoy your favorite foods 20% of the time. Balance makes consistency easier.

2. Train Hard, Train Smart
Lift weights 2-3 times per week and add 2 cardio sessions. Focus on getting stronger while supporting overall fitness.

3. Prioritize Recovery
Get enough sleep, take rest days, manage stress, and stay patient. Results come from consistency over time.

Fitness has always been part of who I am. It started with sports when I was young and now as an official it becomes even more important - my outlet, my reset, my way of staying grounded.

For a long time, I was told I’d make a great trainer… but I never took the leap. Truth is, I’ve always been more comfortable in the background. No spotlight, no credit - just putting in the work. I didn’t even like posting let alone sharing my workouts. To me, it didn’t need to be seen or praised.

Then I went through a knee injury, and it shifted my perspective. It made me think about having something to fall back on - something steady if I ever had to step away for a moment from what I love, especially officiating.

And over time, I realized something..….what I’m sharing isn’t about attention. It’s about the process. The discipline. The ups and downs that actually lead to real results.

So after a lot of thought, I decided to go for it.

Because what I love most isn’t being seen - it’s seeing other people win. Being part of that process. Watching someone build confidence, get stronger, push past their limits, and prove something to themselves and knowing that I played even a small role on that - that’s what means the most to me.

Still not the biggest fan of being in front of the camera but if it helps someone else show up and succeed, I’m all in!

If you’re ready to start your journey, I’ve got you! DM me now to get started. Thank you to @dmphotosnm for a fun photoshoot. Loving these photos

Do you want to get ripped for camps and tryouts this summer?

Everyone knows you gotta look the part as an official.

Not only is it an advantage in the eyes of your critics.

It’s also a reflection of your work ethic.

But don’t make the mistake of thinking you need to workout 2 hours a day and go till exhaustion to get results.

That’s a primitive, haphazard approach to transforming your body.

Registration for our 8 and 12 week off season programs starts in ONE WEEK!

I expect spots will fill up fast, so if you wanna get in early on a great deal, send me a DM “Transformation” to see if you’re a good fit to work with me.
