Ive always been someone who loves community well before I was a mother. It wasn't until I became a mama that I realized "The Village " is part of the survival.
Having one in important, but its also a privilege because some of us are out here solo!! Well NOT ON MY WATCH!!! 🥰😘🤗 Its a blessing to have people willing to show up and make space for you and your tribe with a "come as you are" heart.

Now if you are one of those mamas that has it all together, your children are perfect, and you dont drop the occasional "ear muffs" words...and you dont relate to this...I love that for you, but you can scroll on. Respectfully of course.

Im talking to the mama or woman who wants the help but your flight or fight is always on and you cant even remember if you took a shower and washed all your parts let along remember to ask for help, when you are use to getting it done by yourself anyway. Getting it done while your hot now iced coffee or tea is somewhere laughing at you, and its 9am and your name has been called 17,673,737 times, you have been picking things up all day yet somehow the floor is still covered with boobytraps! 🤣😂🤣😂 and one sock is wet from a mysterious liquid on the floor and no one knows how it got there.

We. Are. People. However im not going to ask what you need im just going to show up, invite, and set the table. I got you.

Happy World Breastfeeding Week to all my Milky Mamas. 🫶🏼🌸🤱🏻 Thank you for your trust, and for allowing me serve you in one of the most sacred seasons of your life. Your love and dedication are incredibly inspiring. From my invincible NICU warriors, to my diligent twin Mamas, my relentless under suppliers, and my abundant and selfless donors.. each story so unique, powerful and deeply beautiful. It’s been such an honor to witness. 🥹❤️ May you never forget just how wonderfully you were made. ✨

Also wanted to take a moment to commemorate the end of my third breastfeeding journey, with my first baby girl. I remember wondering if it would feel the same after two boys, if she would love me or need me any less.. turns out she needed me just as much, if not more. Sweet girl was a true milky babe, attached to her Mama. She nursed through the night longer than her brothers, which we gently transitioned to “cosquillitas” as I nursed her through my fourth pregnancy. She weaned little by little, at her own pace. So grateful to have nursed her 2 years and 7 months, just beyond my goal. 🥲🙏🏼 Some nights felt like they’d never end.. but here we are on the other side, and it all went too fast. Now Eden girl is a big sister, and she even helps her baby brother latch. 😭🤍 The ending of a breastfeeding journey is always bittersweet for me. So blessed to be able to nourish her, thankful for the deep bond we established, and now I get to watch her blossom into a little lady, she already seems so much bigger. 🥹🦋

Swipe to see all my little nurslings (my current one was still in my womb) ➡️ My body has produced milk for my babies for a combined 8 years, 10 months and 2 weeks (2,873 days 🤯). So so blessed to be their Mama, and so grateful for the Lords marvelous design.

Happy Mother’s Day 💐 Every day is Mother’s Day at the Milk Makers Club, so am I really late? lol 🤪 Just wanted to send all my love to the women giving it their all. Loving and caring for their beloved little blessings from above. To the first time Moms who are literally growing alongside their babies, who struggle with doubt and anxiety, learning the kind of Mother they really are and feel overwhelmed by all the things. To the Moms of multiples, who struggle with being outnumbered, being touched out or learning how to spread their love with all their babies. You all are doing amazing. The Lord sees your hard work, and all the thankless mundane tasks you do with so much love. The way you Mother is an act of worship. Try hard not to look to the sides and compare with others, instead look straight ahead at the beautiful journey you were chosen for, and lean into Jesus for the strength to start fresh each day and endure with joy amidst the chaos. Some verses that get me through: for the days I don’t think I can make it through another day - Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. - Don’t think too far into the future, just take it one day at a time, and sometimes even just one hour at a time. For the times I feel so unequipped and unqualified - 2 Corinthians 12:9 My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness. + Isaiah 41:10 Don’t panic. I am with you. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you. - This is where the Lord shines, He provides His strength, a strength we could never imagine or muster up on our own. It is so liberating for me to know that He is my Helper, I am not doing this on my own. He is involved in every detail, from their education, to their protection and their salvation and future. It’s not all on me, He’s got my back. He will take the little I have and multiply it. ✨ CONTINUED IN COMMENTS✨

Well, God has given me the gift of another year. I spent the day yesterday being loved on & being filled with thanks ..just so much gratitude🙏🏾. 41 wasn't the easiest year in the books, but it was still filled with so many blessings & joy & all the people the Lord knew I needed. It's a blessing to start my 42nd year overflowing with gratitude...

✨ Early Hunger Cues ✨ You’ll want to nurse your baby when you see EARLY signs of hunger. Some hunger cues can look like: baby sticking out their tongue, licking their lips, sucking on their fingers or fists, turning their head side to side, bringing their hands to their mouth or face or can even be as subtle as stirring in their sleep. If you’re carrying your baby they might bounce their little face against your chest looking for your nipple (pictured above, I call it the head banger 😂). Try to feed them before they begin to cry. Crying is a LATE sign of hunger. It may be hard to latch a baby in distress, so try to soothe your little one before initiating the feed if they’re upset. Just like us, they can get “hangry”, and therefore less likely to cooperate. Newborns typically nurse every 2-3 hours, and often times more frequently. So look for those early signs of hunger, and feed on demand! 😋🥛🤱🏻❤️👶🏼 #earlyhungercues

The Milk Makers Club is a dream that was cultivated from a passion and love for Mothers + babies and breastfeeding. I had always loved Mothers + babies, it’s why I spent years as an RN in maternity. But a burning passion grew as I experienced the throes of pregnancy, birth, postpartum and breastfeeding for myself. As I learned what it meant to love another soul with my entire being, as I began navigating my own milky journey and pushed through the many different seasons. ❤️‍🔥 I’ll never forget, at 3am when I was 2 days postpartum, the woman who was answering my desperate questions through the night. It’s that kind of support I strive to give. The Lord has blessed me greatly and has allowed me to turn this passion into a profession and a ministry. Serving, encouraging, educating and praying with women and their families as they too take on motherhood. The sweetest part about it, is when you become a Mother, you are automatically part of a club you never knew existed. ✨ We can feel so alone at times, but there is always another Mother going through similar worries and struggles. You are not alone. ❤️‍🩹 This shoot had a vision of representing Mothers from all different walks of life, different seasons of Motherhood. The youngest at just 1 month old, the oldest at 2 years and 8 months, and every age in between. 👶🏼👶🏾👶🏽 For some it was their first baby, for others their third, and one expecting milky Mama nourishing two children with her body. ❤️ These women embody all of us! 🥹 Thank you to the beautiful Moms and babes for bringing this vision to life. We are forever changed by our little ones. It is so fulfilling to be a mother and to know a love as deep as this. It wasn’t until becoming a Mom that I felt so fully loved.. it was through this love of my precious child that I got a glimpse into the kind of unconditional love that Jesus has for me. 🥲❤️ #blessed

Happy Women’s Day to all my milky Mama’s. 🤍 The most incredible strength, draped in delicate beauty. True femininity is such a blessing, we are wonderfully made and intricately designed. Feels strange living in a society that wants to swap words like breastfeeding and birthing mother for chest feeding and birthing people. But their confusion, is not my reality. Grateful to God for strong women, may we be them, know them and raise them. 💕 Sending all my love to grandmothers, mama’s, aunts, sisters and daughters today and everyday!
