"HAPPY BIRTHDAY JODY" Wishing the iconic Ms. Jody Watley a Happy Birthday today! I have always loved and respected her as an artist. She stood out as a dancer on Soul Train, then as a member of Shalamar before her solo career took off. So the bonus for me was finally meeting her and experiencing her LOVE and LIGHT! She embraced me as part of her "wattage" family almost immediately! She's a fearless woman who has never let anyone define her or put her in a box. So whether she's singing pop, r&b, house, jazz or ambient music, she's unapologetically Jody! She's still a trendsetter, still a style icon and still a thrill! Enjoy celebrating another trip around the sun fabulous woman! 🥰❤💃🏾🔥🎶⚡Real Love, Phil * I DO NOT OWN THE COPYRIGHTS TO THIS MUSIC* #happybirthday #jodywatley #icon #fashionista #blackgirlmagic

🔊 Sony Hall, NYC
🎫Incredible sold out concert-you really had to be there, it was magical✨ Set list was a music journey spanning decades from the classics to underground gems, new music, critically acclaimed releases beyond the mainstream, deep cuts, spontaneous moments, and beyond. Wattage in full effect ⚡️

“I’ve had so many memorable concerts in NYC over the decades in a variety of venues. The 2019 concert in NYC didn’t disappoint, it ranks as one of my favorites! The high level vibes of the atmosphere, the sense of togetherness was incredible, and for more than likely my final concert there, I can’t think of a better experience to have.” - Jody Watley ❤️Thank you to all involved and everyone who was in attendance - high level vibrations!
