Congratulations to CAA’s Head of Community & Impact, Natalie Tran, on being named to Inside Philanthropy’s “Entertainment’s Most Powerful People in Philanthropy” list.

“Natalie Tran leads one of the most influential philanthropy arms in the entertainment industry. The foundation, which operates within Creative Artists Agency, connects talent and resources with high-impact social initiatives. Tran has overseen major campaigns including support for public school arts programs, election protection efforts, and relief following natural disasters and mass shootings. She also cofounded the Civic Alliance, a coalition of over 1,300 companies committed to strengthening democracy.” @insidephilanthropy

Over the weekend, CORE hosted a groundbreaking event for The Center for Community in Altadena to commemorate a year of intensive response work and announce the next phase of long-term recovery. Designed by Shigeru Ban Architects and located at 2231 Lincoln Avenue, the 1,600 square feet center will serve as both an architectural landmark and a functional resilience building center, offering mental health services, educational workshops, and community programming.

“This past year has been defined by the toughness of Los Angeles County, but also by the reality that recovery does not end when the immediate crisis passes. The Center for Community represents the next phase of recovery: a permanent, people-centered space where individuals can access support, rebuild stability, and reconnect. This moment is both a reflection of a renewed promise to stand with this community, with a holistic approach, for the long term. With the vast majority of homeowners still displaced, our commitment must deepen,” said Ann Lee, Co-Founder and CEO of CORE.
